8x10 digital image that I did the other day. It is of a little curious fox fairy. He is my favorite so far. The original is not available as it is digital, but merchandise and prints are. Completed in May 2006

Thank you! I used Photoshop and a wacom tablet for this one. I am wondering if there are better programs for it?

You're welcome! Well if you're looking for a more painterly look use Corel painter. In there you can use oil, acrylic, colored pencils, aribrush. Basically it simulates all the traditional styles of art. You can do that with Photoshop but you have to make brushes in painter they're premade already.

I know a fair amount of how to color in photoshop. So if you have any more questions for me don't be shy to ask I'd be happy to help out ^^

Ok thanks so much. I am just drawing right on the tablet and then coloring. Do you know any good tutorials on it?

I usually draw on a separte sheet of paper first and then scan it into the computer then take it into the program. It's cleaner and easier to control. on a tablet sometimes it can come out shaky. As for tutorials on drawing on a tablet the best info I can give is that Most (I think all) tablets are presure sensitive. so the harder you push on the stylus the darker and thicker the line will be. That's the best I can do for tablet drawings I don't usually draw with the tablet most of the time I just color with it and put in backgrounds.
---edit: I forgot to add that if you hold the shift button down while you're drawing a line it will make a perfectly straight horizontal or vertical line. Yes
