Yes, it's looking much better now, with the arm shorter an dthe leg drawn to her chest. I think you should lower her foot and change the angle a bit, and I love her hand coming from around her legs. Yes All you have to do there is draw the fingers, and I don't think it should be changed.
If you want I think I can help you with the feet. Keep it up hun! Thumbs Up Smile

Hey, I was just wondering, how did you learn to draw?
        • Dec 5, 2005, 10:43:01 AM UTC
hum...well...Smile I've always liked to draw. Before college i never had any drawing classes, except for art class in high school, so i guess i've always had a talent for observation drawing. My teacher in high school said that my motivation was to attract attention by my drawings, since i was a shy girl.Smile College helped a bit, but observation drawing has always been a part of me. I've learned mostly by observing and trying and trying...Smile What about you?

Wow, that's some determination, so you taught yourself huh? I'm impressed. I don't think I could be as good as I am now without having my drawing classes. Although I do teach myself most of the time since beginning of college. What helped me the most was studying with my art teacher who is an artist himself. I think he taught me what I know about proportions, composition and anatomy. *ramble* I had lessons with him throughout highschool. I don't do much observation studies anymore but at that time I was doing lots of still life and people sketches. Yeah, those drawings do help.Smile

lol, its not really determination since i've always liked to draw, when you love something it doesn't matter how many hour who pass doing it...Smile I remember in my anatomy classes in college, we had to draw bones and muscles and i remember getting angry while drawing bones because back than i couldn't see the point in drawing bones to draw a body, to draw all i had to do is observe. But i agree with it did help too...i see it now. Smile

Yep. I often draw the bones first to figure out the body. Although I still haven't drawn many bones like legs and stuff. But I know the general structure.Sweat Drop I'm just too lazy. lol.

lol...me too, i know the general structure so screw the bones Grin
