I've been working on this one again, and i again need your assistance. I've left the first drawing so that you guys can check them both. I've drawn the leg closer to her chest and yes, the arm was too long. I've also drew the hand where i had put it at first. Tell me if its better , if the proportion and all are ok???!!! (not a word on her feet, or lack of...., i've declare a war to feet)Thanks!

Feet are overrated as well... give her a pair of hooves and have done with it! I love the way she's sat, great pose.

Hey You're back!!! Thanks about the review, i'm currently colouring her and i dont know what happened, the grass grew so much it covered her feet. Weird. I think hooves would have made her look too much like Acorna, a caracter of some writer. Smile Thanks again!

Lol I know what you mean about the feet. Ok uh I think everything is looking great. You've made a big improvement since the last version. I agree with Arkillian about the hand. That was exactly what I was going to suggest. You are almost done Big Smile

Thanks! Phew, i'm a bit relieved cuz the more i looked at it, the more i felt like everything was out of proportion. I think a very convenient bush will grow where her feet should be, what a coincidenseO.O
      !!!! Thanks again Grin

Yes, it's looking much better now, with the arm shorter an dthe leg drawn to her chest. I think you should lower her foot and change the angle a bit, and I love her hand coming from around her legs. Yes All you have to do there is draw the fingers, and I don't think it should be changed.
If you want I think I can help you with the feet. Keep it up hun! Thumbs Up Smile

Thanks Atlantis! Phew, i feel a bit better now, i might be able to finish this one!So you say that the hand is ok? I had draw it fast just to show where i wanted it to be, if you say that i this ok, than i'll draw the fingers! Thanks thanks! Mwah to you!

Hey, I was just wondering, how did you learn to draw?
            • Dec 5, 2005, 10:43:01 AM UTC
hum...well...Smile I've always liked to draw. Before college i never had any drawing classes, except for art class in high school, so i guess i've always had a talent for observation drawing. My teacher in high school said that my motivation was to attract attention by my drawings, since i was a shy girl.Smile College helped a bit, but observation drawing has always been a part of me. I've learned mostly by observing and trying and trying...Smile What about you?
              • Dec 6, 2005, 6:48:55 AM UTC
Wow, that's some determination, so you taught yourself huh? I'm impressed. I don't think I could be as good as I am now without having my drawing classes. Although I do teach myself most of the time since beginning of college. What helped me the most was studying with my art teacher who is an artist himself. I think he taught me what I know about proportions, composition and anatomy. *ramble* I had lessons with him throughout highschool. I don't do much observation studies anymore but at that time I was doing lots of still life and people sketches. Yeah, those drawings do help.Smile

lol, its not really determination since i've always liked to draw, when you love something it doesn't matter how many hour who pass doing it...Smile I remember in my anatomy classes in college, we had to draw bones and muscles and i remember getting angry while drawing bones because back than i couldn't see the point in drawing bones to draw a body, to draw all i had to do is observe. But i agree with it did help too...i see it now. Smile
                  • Dec 7, 2005, 7:15:14 AM UTC
Yep. I often draw the bones first to figure out the body. Although I still haven't drawn many bones like legs and stuff. But I know the general structure.Sweat Drop I'm just too lazy. lol.
                    • Dec 7, 2005, 4:24:20 PM UTC
lol...me too, i know the general structure so screw the bones Grin

Oh yes that does look alot better with her leg drawn up more to her chest. I think now the calf (right above where the calf meets the ankle) should be thinned out a bit. There should be more of an "indented arch" right there. I agree with Jill that the fingers should be spaced a tiny bit apart but not much and at the angle you have her at, you probably won't see her thumb at all. So keep up the great work sweetheart. You are doing wonderfully. Yes I can't wait until you get this done. All my love. Mwah!
    • Dec 3, 2005, 6:43:18 AM UTC
thanks Kristy, i've been having so much problem with that area that i feel like screaming when its not right! But i'll draw it ok she WILL have decent calf and feetGrin No thumb? I'll check it out, cuz when i ask my roomy to be my model i always see her thumb...but i'll try it! And yes i will fix the hand! Thanks again mwah to you Kristy, hope everything is peachy for you Very Happy
      • Dec 3, 2005, 9:09:31 AM UTC
Know what hun? I was wrong about the thumb. The thing I was thinking about, I had my hand resting in the crook of my arm (like Bulma in my Vampire Prince (take 2) picture. ) But I found out that if I moved my fngers out to grasp my arm then it does show my thumb. Sweat Drop Eheheh... So you are right and I am wrong. >_< So with that said, I must say that it looks wonderful and you WILL get those calves and feet down perfectly. I know you will because you are a brilliant artist and you have too much determination to give up. this is going to turn out beautifully. All my love. Mwah!
        • Dec 5, 2005, 7:15:04 AM UTC
Im all blushy now, thanks Kristy !about the comments, i'm glad you said it about the thumb i think its great to have an outsider look, i tried it with and without the thumb and yeah i prefer the thumb there! But thanks again for it! Smile
  • Dec 2, 2005, 3:08:54 PM UTC
It's a big improvement! I like where it's going. Hmm...I really don't see anything else that needs to be looked at. I recomened to space the fingers apart alittle (If you weren't going to in the first place) before you add anymore details.
    • Dec 2, 2005, 4:17:51 PM UTC
Thanks a lot!!!!I dunno why, i'm paranoid with this one, thigh too big, too thin...i feel like its disproportionate and the feet, Lili the evil feet slayer shall come forth and destroy all feet mwahahahGrin!!!!!SerioulslyI can't wait to finish the drawing in itself cuz i had this idea about the coloring (lets pray that i don't ruin this one! Thanks for the review and critics! Smile
      • Dec 2, 2005, 7:30:48 PM UTC
No problem! Yeah color can be tricky but I'm sure you'll pull it off. Big Smile
        • Dec 3, 2005, 6:39:51 AM UTC
