Beautiful, just beautiful Robin! You captured the essence of the poem so brilliantly. I love those wings, they look leathery and ancient like old parchment (it's hard to describe). Also that gorgeous border creation once again, the faces are a nice touch. You are the 'Queen of Design' in my book and I am proud to call you friend.
"That gorgeous border" nearly made me scribble out the whole drawing. I am not the epitome of patience, unfortunately, or my dawings would be far smoother. As it is, I have to work with my personality in the best way I can.
I am honoured, and have been since the first day you found my gallery, that you've taken the -time- to consider me friend. You know that - and we can inspire each other. The basis for a good few years ahead of us.
Cheesiness aside - Thanks, Lloyd! I'm glad you came over to my gallery again! I really do appreciate it.
I also consider myself fortunate that I caught your gallery and commented. I almost didn't at the time as I was at work and was rushing to get to a meeting. I remember that day vividly as it's also the day I finaly went to check out Wayne's gallery and the day I had to fire a good friend at work.
As for cheesiness? I happen to like cheese, especialy on my pizza *smiles*.
Ugh. Having to fire a friend would be very hard indeed...
You've only known Wayne's art as long as you've known mine? Woah. I thought you guys had been discussing your art far longer than that, for some reason.
Cheese - my antidepressant. (At least, until I look in the mirror. :rofl
Oh yes! Wayne and I only began corresponding this year. I met him as he was the first person to ever comment on my gallery (it's true!). Later he and I became pretty good internet friends. Just like I hope we have become.
