  Background story (universal):  

Virmenor grew up in a small village with two hardworking, loving parents who would spoil him without regrets while they exhaust themselves every single day at the local farm. They wouldn’t allow Virmenor to do any work and suggested him to study hard to, one day, be able to find a good job and stable living, wishing for their son not to suffer like they are.

When one day, the farm animals got sick and suffered from unusual symptoms (that threatened the village food supplies), Virmenor earned himself a reputation as an investigator when he discovered the reason why it all happened, which had ties with a occult demonic summoning, and stopped it for once and for all. Sooner or later, the young man learned that it was more than just a small hobby and became passionate about it. However, he remains the way he was before. A lazy, spoiled man that cares only about himself. The investigation jobs he earned became troublesome and boring, unlike the first, in which a dark curse was involved, they were trivial cases. Merely boring misunderstandings or murders. Soon enough, Virmenor got obsessed with forbidden techniques and dark themed cases, prioritizing these merely for self interests and personal gain.

He turned into a reckless, thrill seeking lunatic and continues to learn more about the dark paths.

 

  Background (PaperDemon):  

One day, Virmenor had been reading about alternative realms and had been doing his research in order to enter it. He had shared this information with his younger brother, Illmenor, who also did his part on the reading. It hadn't happened often that they cooperate and not focus on competing. With the great teamwork, especially on Illmenor's side, Virmenor and he were able to find the necessary materials to open up a portal for traveling. They had not a single idea if there would be a way back out again, however, they are optimistic and ignorant fools, so the thought hadn't crossed their thrill-driven mind. As the portal appeared in the dark basement, they both gathered their belongs and companions, and they entered.

They found themselves in a brand new environment, where the brothers immediately separated to explore. What of necromancy will this place hold for them to discover?

They signed themselves up at the guild for their own selfish needs. It was knowledge and a steady income. As newcomers to an unknown world, they would need to focus on getting closer enough to other people in order to make them speak of those thrilling horrors. In Virmenor's case, it'd be his priority to get servants that do exactly as he says. Since the brothers only have each other, they'd sometimes spend time together to maintain their skeleton creatures with weekly bone polishing.


  Tendencies for cooperation (Collaborations):  

Virmenor isn't interested in bonding as much with the members, unless he is specifically excited about them. When they are powerful, he'd prefer to be close to them in case they would make a fall, he could put their body to good use as a necromancer at heart. Besides believing that it is a thrill to be close to anything powerful, may it be an enemy or ally. Especially dangerous enemies are to his liking, for which he'd pick up members and watch the enemies in action and seek for a way to befriend them.

His attitude toward members, regardless of who they are is neutral, as long as they do exactly as he wants them, he'll especially like their company. He doesn't fear to cooperate with people that are less compatible with him, he's less attached to such details and would rather get the job done. And if anything, he has his own, charming approaches to convince them to cooperate with him. Given his forceful nature, this isn't always working out. Virmenor doesn't back away from fun or a little sparring, but it is usually on an adult level unless he has alternative goals. He'd do his best not to reveal any humilating side of himself, but may frequently end up at it.

He is emotionally detached, but it is invisible as he covers it up with a charming smile, or when he speaks the words that people specifically want to hear. He neither feels strong attraction to appearance, but he is easily addicted to powerful entities and will lose his rational thinking. Virmenor is reckless, and won't hesitate to head toward a place filled with traps without checking on the safety, simply to obtain things of interests. (demonic, occult, evil sources and things, or other bizarre things)

Virmenor had mastered the green flames, which source energy he uses to fuel the bone structure with energy. This with controlled, familiar precision, enough to reanimate them. After all, he had used his magic in the other realm for such purposes as well, enough to know how to tweak some details. Virmenor uses a cane sword for attacking, but would rather attack from a distance with various of animalistic skeletons controlled by sickly, green flames.

The elf has an intimidating, natural vibe, but unlike he might seen, he is rather passive and would hesitate to inflict immediate pain. He would rather aim to trouble his enemies psychologically to corrupt them, rather than through physical attempts, but in some cases, these go hand in hand. He enjoys the sensation of superiority and will rarely hesitate to live that to the fullest. Virmenor would rarely reveal this upfront, trying his best to come off  as a kind man to gain their trust. Therefor, he could cooperate with anyone.

He loves his skeleton minions (exclusively animals) and will treat them like his pets, he is deeply attached to each of them and gives them names.
