Late Pride Raffle, Adoption Center, and More!
Good day!
I'm here with a big event, and a few other announcements.

Pride Adoptable Raffles!
We hope you had a happy Pride!!
Sadly, we were unable to host our event during Pride, but the event is still happening!
Three gorgeous Eláfkeria have been designed off some Pride Flags, and are being raffled to happy owners by the end of July.

The Adoption Center is Up!
As announced a while ago through our Discord Server, the Adoption Center is officially up, and has nice genos waiting for their new homes!
Anyone can adopt one geno every three months for now; make sure you go grab yours!

The SF Shop is Up!
Although still mostly empty, the Sky Fragment Shop is up!! Sky Fragments ( or SF ) are Kósmos's fictional currency, which can be used to purchase various in-game items to help you on your journey through Kósmos!
Currently, the only way to earn SF is through our Discord Server's Work and Crime mini-game, but they will also be available by selling items, participating in Quests, and other future activities.

Queues are Being Reworked
That's correct! Our queue system has been a trial and error work in progress, and we're finally reaching something that's easy for both players and admins to work with.
We'll be switching most queues to Google Forms, while others will remain as comment threads. Forums will no longer work as queues, as they were more difficult to keep track of.
Currently, Approvals and Corrections have been moved to Google Forms, and we're working on moving the Parlor, Ownership, and HarP Counts to Forms as well. Some other queues, such as Breeding and Quests, will remain in comment threads through their respective blogs, while other queues are still being discussed by the team.

World Map, Seasonal Challenge, and More Items!
Good day!
I'm here after a few months of being a bit silent in the news post to announce a few very exciting things!

The Kósmos world map is here!!
That’s a pretty cloudy map, huh?

Additionally, you can now find the current world map in the Elafkeria-ARPG game menu!

Spring has come, and our second seasonal challenge has arrived with it!!
The challenge this season will be moth catching. You heard us correctly! Why catch butterflies or other insects when moths are more helpful, right?
An infested farm has asked for your help, and now you can even befriend a Moth to help you in future scavenging trips!

The challenge will end on June 1st, 2021, and every participating player will earn the rewards!

A few more items have been added to the Kosmos-Archive gallery!
That means that, as long as the activity is open, you can now try and get those items to add to your inventory!

Seasonal Challenge!
Good day!
Now that the kickstarter is past us, we're working towards making the game playable, and keeping it exciting while we do so!
~
To ensure that the game remains active while we work on it, we're hosting seasonal challenges that contain a prompt where everyone can participate and earn rewards.
For the first challenge, we have the First Snow!! Every Eláfkeri has the delight to meet snow for the first time, and this time it's your Eláfkeri's turn!

The challenge will run for the rest of the season, until February 28th, and every participating player will earn the rewards!

Kickstarter end, Discord, and Game Developments.
Good day, happy new year, and happy holidays to anyone who celebrated any!
~
As many of you may have seen, the kickstarter event has ended, and was a blast!
Thank you so much to everyone who entered, who shared it, and who made art for the kickstarters!
And special thanks to everyone who filled out the questionnaire, it'll be an amazing help while developing the game to make sure it's fun for all of you!!
To clear any doubts, the event ending only means you can no longer claim a geno or add-on from the event. Your geno and add-on(s) are yours now, and you can use them whenever you wish to!
Regarding gift boxes from the questionnaire, you can still fill out the questionnaire to claim a box! It will most likely remain open throughout the beta version of the game, and we'll announce once gift boxes are no longer redeemable!
To claim a gift box, now that the event is closed, just fill out the gift box section of the questionnaire with your PaperDemon URL! We'll take it from there!
Gift boxes will be granted at a later date, as we're busy developing vital things for the ARPG for now! Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for the patience!

We're giving updates through our Discord!
Although updates are given through the news log in a wrap-up fashion, we give more updates through our Discord server.
Things such as game dev, sneak peeks, and event news are given through the Discord!

Genetics and guides are being updated.
All genetic guides have received new coverage colors to be easier to understand! They've also been linked with official imports to understand the markings better.
Some genetic guides have been updated with new notes or edits to coverage and rules! Additionally, some new markings are underway, and some free markings have been added to the guide!

We're focusing on vital areas, but are still working on other ones!
Because the beta version of the ARPG is now out, our focus is almost fully on the vital parts, such as individual activities ( e.g. Scavenging, Hunting, Dream Divination ), upcoming world events, and technicalities. However, we're also working— albeit more slowly— on other activities ( e.g. Breeding, Sabering, Racing ), and on passive lore ( e.g. species information, world history ).
Because of our beta status, though, some things may take a lot of time, while others may undergo big changes that could affect playability. Please bear with us! We're doing our best to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone!
