I went to my first Wondercon and i'll tell you. I was in bad shape. The Lucas Portfolio review was terrible. I was told that I should conform to industry standards and go back to school to learn more about professional concept art making. Otherwise, it's just a useless hobby. I was not able to go to the Aspen portfolio review due to the long line. I went to Comic Creators connection and got emails but no one emailed me back.  Wondercon could have been more fun if I had more money and I had my own hotel room but I didn't. It was painful to go back home due to my portfolio bag and walking far.
