Chapter 1: chapter 1 maxs bully

As the night grew darker, shadows began to creep around, and the echoes of mimicry and laughter filled the air. Max's heart sank as he heard the familiar voices of the trickster triplets, Leo, Lion, and Lia. No matter how hard he tried to avoid them, they always found a way to harass him. "Did you see him flinch?" chuckled Lia, the youngest but the bossiest of the three. Max's unease grew as he realized it was going to be a long night.

In one swift motion, Leo snatched Max's backpack, and Max shouted in alarm, "Give that back!" However, Leo only sneered, "Too bad, so sad. What junk do you even have in here anyway?" As Max continued to demand his backpack, Leo continued to rummage through it, laughing at Max's plight.

"Let me see, you idiot," demanded Lia, trying to get a look at the contents of the backpack. "Look at all this stuff! He must be some rich snob," Leo laughed, while Lion stood back, snickering occasionally.

Leo dumped all the contents of Max's backpack on the ground, leaving him stranded and helpless. Max tried to pick up his belongings, but his efforts were in vain. "Why would you do that?" he asked, bewildered. Leo only laughed in return, "Max, you need to learn to take a joke." The words stung Max, and he realized how powerless he was against these bullies.

He felt his anger boil inside him, but instead of picking up his items and his bag, he stood there in silence, staring at the ground. "Uhh, Max, you okay?" asked Lia. Max remained silent, still looking down. "Max, say something!" she yelled. But Max remained silent, as if a hollow shell had taken his place. The night was dark and long, and the shadows grew thicker as the hours passed.

Max remained on the ground, with no tears left to cry. It felt as if he was hollow inside. He wondered how long it had been since the trouble had passed. "I don't feel like getting up," he thought. "I don't want to get up."

The triplets had always been a nuisance to Max, but tonight was different. Tonight, they had crossed a line. Max had always been a shy and introverted kid, but he had never felt so powerless before. He wanted to stand up to them, to tell them that what they did was not a joke, but an act of bullying. However, he didn't know how to do it. He felt trapped, like a prey caught in a spider's web.

As he lay on the ground, lost in his thoughts, he heard footsteps approaching him. He looked up the spider statue he got from the cart it moved suddenly

Max was stunned. He had never seen a statue move as it did it came closer to Max and its eyes blinked β€œWhat did it want” Max thought the spitter came closer and cocked his head it made its way onto Max’s head and stayed there they were both in the rain alone and for the first time Max’s didn't feel alone or helpless just content
