Chapter 2: Biweekly - Eldritch Realm

#106 Draw or write about the magical guild hall room that is occupied by your character. Is it a pocket dimension?

The place which the eldritch being Ain β€žYi'athrogdhiszβ€œ calls his home is unlike any you’ve ever seen. After you stepped into the portal to his little realm, you find yourself in a place which strongly reminds you of space. There are particles swirling around you as well as many blinking, red eyes. The air is a mix between red and black, merging with each other like smoke. It’s slightly unsettling but also mesmerizing at the same time.

When you look down your feet, you spot a big shard of black glass right in front of you. A bit hesitant you take the first step onto the shard right in front of you and the world around you begins to shift. It feels like the horizon does a big turn and all of a sudden you find yourself in front a place where multiple glass shards and eyes are floating around.

Curiosity gets the best of you so you decide to approach the floating mass and within seconds everything rearranges into actual shapes. All of them are bioluminescent, giving off a weak, red glow while still being somewhat transparent. It is very interesting to see.

There is a bathtub with endless water running into it and out of it, you wonder where the excess water actually goes because it seems to just fade into nothingness. You also see something that resembles a bed but instead of having the conventional rectangular shape, it’s actually round. You approach it and give the surface of the bed a nudge just to see what it feels like and to your surprise it’s solid and soft to the touch, like a bed should be. You can actually sleep on this despite looking like an illusion.

Multiple smaller round shapes are placed on the bed and you assume them to be pillows. There is no blanket though but now that you think about it, it isn’t cold or hot in this area. It just feels… comfortably perfect.

Looking down you catch a glimpse of another black shard and when you step on it, other, new shapes appear in front of you. Once more bioluminescent and somewhat transparent. This time you can make out a shelf with multiple containers on it. They seem to hold great value to the eldritch being because all of them look well maintained. None looks like the other, each one does have a different type of sigil and adornment and after you decide that it’s worth to take a closer look, you can actually make out names.

You wonder who these names belong to but you don’t have to hold that thought for long when you notice a clawed hand being put on your shoulder from behind.

β€žSsso you found my deceasssed pact partnerss.β€œ

His slithering voice rings through your ears, it feels like he isn’t speaking directly to you, it’s more like his voice is reverberating through this realm, echoing forth and back.

β€žI ssstill hold them in high regardss. Each of them having become a part of my life.β€œ

He takes his hand off your shoulder and steps in front of you, smiling charmingly while holding out a hand. The surroundings manage to complement his alluring looks quite well, it is hard to resist looking at him.

β€žSssince you’re already here… Do you want to form a pact with me? I’m one of the good onesss, I sswear~β€œ
