Ruined Vacation: Chapter 1

Dynn glared balefully at the machine interrupting his beauty sleep. One moment he was napping on the sun warmed sands of a popular tourist's beach, the next screams and cries rang out as vicious winds and ominous fog swept away the revelers, most scrambling to collect their towels and children before they were fully swallowed up by the machine's raging storm. Lugging his too-relaxed carcass onto his feet, he appraised the behemoth with a dull eye. Huge fins caught the breeze enabling it to move in any direction. Sturdy cables meant the air bladders couldn't be easily severed from the main body. An internal core, not unlike a beating heart, well protected by a reinforced ribcage.

The machine was more or less a winged fortress. There was no way Dynn could destroy it in one go, but diverting it? That was definitely within the realm of possibility. The draconequus didn't have a proper elemental alignment, yet at least, but he knew well enough how to summon his own gusts of wind. It should be easy enough to deflect some of the wayward gusts back at the motion machine.
