Yari: Tails of the Origami Fox: I should get a new dress

Yari was stumbling through the murky waters of the swamp as she heard an irritating chime of her bell call out to her.

 

“What do you mean ‘wait’? Does it look like an aristocrat should be standing out in the middle of nowhere? My shoes are getting soiled in dirt!”

 

As Yari argued with … whoever she was arguing with, she traversed through the waters to find a light at the end of the dingy, swamp hell. Her eyes widened as she picked up her dress by the tips of her fingers, being wary of the muddy mess, she heard one last time before she fell forward … eating the dirty water in the process.

 

Yari scrambled to sit up, her outfit now ruined.

 

“STOP SAYING THAT! Why are you laughing!?”

 

Yellow eyes poked from the water as a green liquid emerged and took the form of a measly blob. Oh, god.

 

Recongising the creature immediately, a rush of wind pulled some paper from Yari’s attire as she whistled and scattered the slime with razor blades of magic paper.

 

“That does it! I need a new dress! Specifically for travelling!”
