Toy Soldiers

Okay, few things I wanna explain. The title is the title of a song by Martika. Very pretty song, kind of a sad one, but a beautiful one none the less. I've seen a few AMV's and just music videos done to the song where people are dancing and I've absolutely loved it. Secondly, watching the finals of "So you think you can dance" really kinda pumped me up for attempting another dance picture.

Secondly, the two are twins. Tobias and his sister (And I know I spell this wrong every single time) Araverrel. Both are very close, they're pretty much the only family the other one has left. That and Toby's way too short to dance like that with Morrigan without being the girl. XD

Thirdly, Tobias is a natural dancer. I love the movement in dance and I wanted an excuse to draw it. Dan and I were thinking up ideas for a collab, not sure he'll wanna go with this idea for it but I wanted to draw it for him anyway. Yeah, Toby hardly -ever- wears anything that tight and I'm not sure if Ara would wear something like that unless it's under some kind of armor but it's the kind of stuff you'd wanna wear when doing crazy dance moves. XD

All done with Mechanical pencil between .5-.3 thickness. Nothing else but an eraser. Might work on it a bit more, add a background, or color it. Not sure yet with my new school/work schedule. I still have a commission I'm fighting with. XD
