The Disturbed One

Whew!!! Long year, I know and I haven't really put alot of art up this year. Sorry guys. I haven't forgotten any of my PD family, I have just been busy...ALOT! But in my spare time, I have managed to complete a few drawings. Some of which I have yet to post. Anywhoo, about this drawing...
This is the best I could do at drawing David Draiman (the hot lead singer of the group DISTURBED.) I think I am getting better at shading with my paint program, but I felt so out of practice once I started working with it again. The flesh tones could be better, but it is hard to make this guy tan. >< At least for me it was. (Any advice in this area would be helpful.) I am happy with how his shirt turned out. I am getting much better at making clothes. Yay!!!! ^_^

This is lovely, my dear. I'm actually very impressed with the skin tones you've managed. You gave his skin a very realistic transparency that is tough to get. You continue to improve in your absence.

  MY WIFEY!!!! Omg I love you so much and miss you so. I am back now and with a wicked vengeance. Albeit a little bit drunk right now. So much has happened in these past two years. I am going to post a story which is actually a love letter that I wrote to my (now) ex fiance Chase. You will be able to read all of the torture and pain I've been through. Plus I have some amazing new art that I will be posting soon. I love you my dearest. Have you spoken with our dear Lloyd lately? I miss him so.

Wow. I don't even know who this guy is, but he looks totally hot (hehe, I've never seen this David Draiman guy, but is it just me or does he look a little like a younger Howie Mandel?? ). I can't get over how great your realism is. Personality is just oozing from this picture.

  Haha! Megs I have missed you so much my love! *squeezes* I have been through alot these past 2 years. I have it posted on my blog on myspace but I think I may post it here as well for everyone to understand where I have been lately.
  Know what? He really DOES look like Howie Mandell and I have had so many people tell me that when they see just the pencil shading version I did. This guy is the lead singer of Disturbed and I am convinced that I will marry him one day. lol BTW, thank you for all of your wonderful comments you left me on all of my newest art. And I love your new pics on MySpace. YOu are so beautiful. *hugs*

Mmmm... David... *drools*

I adore him... haha. Also, he has an incredible voice. Disturbed ROCKS.

Very nice work on the shirt's design, and I like the shiny effect... it looks a little flat around the edges, but maybe using a different approach to the outline might help?
I think he's skin looks good... The top of the head area is very good for the "tan" aspect, and I can't offer any advice as I don't have any digital art programs to practice, but it looks good!
