Superheroines!

My doodle all coloured and ready to go.  THese characters are way too much fun to draw...  Now I have to find out what their alter-egos are like...  It should be interesting.

I like your use of color to shade. The amount of detail is good too. Excellent!

Oh lovey, I absolutely adore your colored works. Probably because we don't get to see many of them. Well rest assured this looks radiant. Smile Your shading is superb. I see that you have layered the colors to create some of the shading. It kind of reminds me of those Paint with Water books I used to love when I was a kid. I really like the cross hatch shading you did on the girl on the right. It gives her kind of a comic-book-feel. I hope that amkes sense love. I want those boots of the girl in the cloak. Those are so cool! Love ya lots hun. Hug

*grin* Rest assured, you'll see more like this soon. I just want to wait for this one to get pushed off the front page first. Wink

The 'cross hatching' on the girl on the right is actually supposed to be hinting at the fishnet she wears over her skin areas. Giggle But it's also supposed to look comic-like. I just suck at cartooning fishnet, that's all. Laughing

Love you so much, ducky. Hope you're doing ok, mrs. Butmer!

oh very nice! Grin how did you color it? can't wait to hear what their personality turns out to be Yes

It's just pencilcrayons. Col_erase, to be exact. You know, the eraseable kind... Big Smile And I used a plain old ordinary black pen for the inking.

I'm still debating on the every-day personalities... Of course, I have t go over WindDancer's (that's the girl with the cloak) with her maker. *grin* Too much fun. I'm not getting any work done!

      Much love,

Thanks! Yep. The girl on the left is WindDancer, and the girl on the right is the Black Bullet. Ah, I love cheese! ROFL

Super-hero ruts are cool. Smile I'm currently working on a comic, myself, with my favorite superhero - Super Nerd! Sweat Drop Made him up myself and everything. Hopefully I'll have character drafts up soon, but so far, I'm still brainstorming.

As for your picture, very very nice shading. Good job. Smile

      Thanks bunches!

Sounds like you'll have fun with that comic. I've only ever done one comic that I was happy with - a collaboration with my best friend. It was called "Nips and Snorts". Full of sick humour and innuendos... And then I lost the original. Cry

really nice shading. Especially on the right one. Nice use of dark and light. Heaven and Hell. Good vs. Evil.
    • May 10, 2006, 4:34:31 PM UTC
Exceptin' they're both good guys... *grin* Yes, I think I had too much fun with this one. I really enjoyed playing with extremes and contrast and ridiculous costumes. Laughing I may be stuck in a superhero rut for a little while.

      Thanks for the critique!

Im not sure if the "theyre guys" is a joke lol but the "heroines part made me think girls.
        • May 10, 2006, 4:37:59 PM UTC
No, no. They are both girls. "THey're both good guys" was referring to your comment on 'good VS evil'.

Good guys is a term often used for both genders.
