Here's a look at the cool changes...
Browse in style. Now many of the galleries have an icon and description so you can get a quick impression of what the gallery is about. The side bar has been ditched and now 16 thumbnails are displayed all the way across the screen in 4 rows of 4, rather than having 4 rows of 3.
Better members area interface. Now when you add artwork to galleries, there is no limit to how many you can choose. That means you can have cross overs! You can select multiple fanarts as well as multiple Genres. The new interface also makes it easier to find the gallery you want.
Friendly URLs. This may not mean much but the URLs for the galleries also have had a makeover. Before this is what the url for the DBZ gallery looked like:

Pretty cool huh? This is good on multiple levels. I wont bore you with the details.With this sort of flexibility comes the potential for abuse, however. That's why we have our wonderfully vigilant Junior Moderators on patroll of the galleries. When you view a gallery, if it has a moderator it will display their name underneath the gallery.

We are still in need of more junior moderators. If you are interested in becoming a jr moderator for a gallery, send me a PM telling me your age, the gallery you wish to mod, and explain to me why you think you'd make a good PD moderator.

Writing Section
Soon the writing section will be revamped just as the art gallery has. Once the writing section is finished, if you view an art gallery of Dragon Ball Z, it will also show you similar writing results for that gallery and vice versa, making the art and writing sections more closely tied together. I know that often times members will come here just for the art or just for the writing and not go for both. This will allow us to expand members horizons.
Comics Section
You may have heard rumors about this from other members on the site and I'm happy to say that the rumors are true! A new comics section is under development. It's a completely separate entity from the artwork and the writing sections. It will allow you to post a collection of artwork together as a series. No site out there has anything quite like this designed specifically for sequential art (as far as I know anyway). Hopefully we'll be one of the first communities to do this. Our beta testers our helping us out by working out the bugs of this system. If you have some comics that you've created yourself and are interested in helping test out the new comics secton, send me a PM.
The priority right now lies with completion of the new writing galleries. Once this conversion is completed, I will continue work on the comics section. At this time I do not know when it will be released. Stay tuned though!
