The Festival of Frost is in peril!
The airships that deliver fireworks and festive supplies all across Wyvera have been caught in a terrible storm out over the ocean. It is up to you to rescue the crew and retrieve the supplies before they’re lost to the waves!
This event will run until March 10, 2021, 11:59PM Pacific time.
This mini event will be a special collaboration with PaperDemon’s ARPG and Dragons of Aquella, (click the names to go to their event pages!) our fellow partnered ARPG on PD. All three groups will have their own event rewards, but we’ll all be participating in the same event. This means that if you have characters in the other two ARPGs, you’ll be able to receive more rewards! You can create and register your own PaperDemon character to use in this event. Their character creation process is super quick and much less strict than most ARPGs. Check out the Dragons of Aquella group if you’d like to grab an Aqrion of your own! If you don’t have or want to have a character in either of the two other ARPGs, we’d encourage you to join the Paperdemon Discord and/or the Dragons of Aquella Discord and ask for people to volunteer characters of theirs for you to include.
Flurry clenched her talons and leaned forwards over the wall, her eyes searching the storm for the return of Seadog, the guardian of the coast. Hours ago, a waterlogged corva had crash landed on the docks, bringing word of airships in danger out at sea. The lightning and high winds had only increased in intensity since. A menagerie of stryx waited with baited breath across the wall, some shuffling anxiously and others keeping their unshakable focus on the skies ahead to watch for Seadog.
A cry went up farther along the wall, and Flurry’s head snapped to train on a small, dark shape emerging from the storm. Seadog’s cry pierced the storm, and the waiting stryx cascaded off the wall like a waterfall of fur and feathers.
Within what felt like heartbeats, Seadog led the flock to the struggling airships. Flames from lightning struck sails licked up against the heavy clouds. Cargo tumbled from the ships and shattered against the waves below.
With a grim click of her beak, Flurry tucked her wings into a dive to sweep beneath a falling crewmember. Around her, the flock set to work pulling cargo and crew from the fiery wreckage as the storm raged on.

-A colored, fullbody image with a background that includes your stryx with a registered PaperDemon character OR an uploaded Aqrion. The other characters can belong to you or another player. Your stryx should be depicted rescuing crew or cargo from an airship or the ocean during the storm.
-For collaborations, only one PD or DoA character must be included in collabs, but all collaborators must add one of their stryx if you are participating in the stryx side of the event to receive rewards from Dracostryx.
Writing
-1000 word story about your stryx and either an uploaded Aqrion or a registered PD character working to rescue airship crews and/or cargo from the raging storm.
-Add 200 words per stryx receiving rewards. Only one PD or DoA character must be included in collabs, but all collaborators must add one of their stryx.

The port is decked with scattered cargo and crew, many stryx and handlers napping on boxes or rooftops. Many stryx offer to lend a wing to distribute the supplies across Wyvera while the airship fleet is docked for repairs. Waterlogged, exhausted, and exuberant, the citizens begin preparations for the late but greatly welcome Festival of Frost.
