March Event: Celebration of Friendship

Equestria settled back into tenuous calm. Normal winter weather was on the brink of fading and many were preparing for the incoming spring. Train travel stabilized quickly after the wild magic induced snowstorms cleared and the Foresters continued to guide everypony in the cities where they settled themselves. The success of this unusual cooperation had not gone unnoticed. In fact, a pattern was emerging for some to the realm’s success. It should not have been a surprise, for it was a tenant held long ago and used with great success then as well by Princess Twilight Sparkle herself.

Ponyville’s very own School of Friendship brought themselves to the forefront. They announced that it was no accident so many problems of late had been solved through cooperation. To further this progress in the power of Friendship, the school announced it was reopening its doors to the public. While times were hard and resources short, the school could no longer justify its closure when it was clear Friendship was so critical to all of Equestria. They welcomed anyone to their halls with open arms.

In celebration of this reopening, they decided to hold a large event on the school’s grounds. Merchants and cooks attended with wares and food, tours were offered to all prospective students, and games promoting friendship were held across the campus. If nothing else, the School of Friendship wanted to make it clear to Equestria that it was here as a beacon of hope moving forward. They had seen what Friendship could do, so why not grow those bonds even further?

Event Prompt: Show your character getting a tour of the School of Friendship, regardless of whether they actually want to join.

The School of Friendship is now open again! This school, however, offers no mechanical differences to characters, so feel free to interact with it at your leisure. Characters are welcome to be students, teachers, or staff at will.
