PROMPT 2: Your travel for the night is over, but your troubles are just beginning! You've arrived at the mansion, only to find it and your fellow partygoers looking more than a little run down. Draw or write about your character arriving to the party in their finery or less than finery. Are they wearing an elaborate dress? A devilish outfit meant to frighten? A panda onesie?

The shifter leaped off the dark-coated beast. He had imagined his landing to be a lot smoother than it actually was. That green-haired mess made it all look so easy.

 

Caspian dusted himself off, but it did little to better his outfit's condition. The ride had ripped the hems of the flowy dress to hell and back, leaving behind something that looked more like a Halloween costume than what it once was. It wasn't the steed's fault, but the whole thing still infuriated him. Every dress he had seemed to either have painful associations, or just end up in the dumpster because of things outside his control. The eternal groaned.

 

On top of being torn, the splatters of mud and grime painted the layers of fabric like the brush of an overexcited toddler. Sky-blue and brown was a nice color combo, for sure, but this was no place for graphic design.
