 Chapter 3
                                  
                                 The Great Devastation   
      
Vince ran to Dawn, but caught Gaara off guard. Gaara looked puzzled as to why Vince took him away. “Do any of you guys smell that? Ugh.. what the hell is that?” asked Gavin as he covered his mouth with the back of his hand and moving backwards. “Sulfur and … blood.” Said Seth. “Dawn is injured, but why did you move me away from Dawn?” asked Gaara looking rather pissed off at him. “She’s not injured, but she can feel the same pain as Kira.” Said Seth, but noticed something new was forming around Dawn.

It was Angelica with her Firebird swarming around Dawn. Angelica throwing sacred sutras that lay out in a circle; summoning up a protective barrier. Vince did not like the idea of Angelica doing this and worse trying to stop Dawn and her Myrith’s Wrath. The Barrier breaks apart with a violent rage. Myrith’s Wrath Fully out and ready, Dawn who was now standing was on a fixed gaze at the so-called beast that was in front of Myrith’s Wrath & her. Dawn making double hand signals. “Oh shit... this cannot be good, what are those dual hand signs she’s doing?” asked Gavin as he turned to get an answer form either Seth or Vince but noticed that Vince was gone. “Vince? Hay, where the hell is he?” asked Gavin. Seth not looking worried at all pointed with his index finger up, Gavin looked up now seeing Vince’s Red Fire Dragon, and he even summoned his Iguana, Vince sat on top of it’s head.
“Gavin, head back get Lilith and return back to our village, and don’t ask why… just go NOW!” said Seth where a blue dark mist was forming around him. Summoning up his Blue Dragon The Uwibami. Gavin turns and heads back to get Lilith and to head back home.

Seth’s Uwibami appears; Dawn’s Myrith’s Wrath noticed there was to other dragons. The Myrith’s Wrath wanted this battle for it’s self and no one will take part of it. Gaara who was off the side with Naruto both agreed that this wouldn’t be right for them to tag along in this battle. Naruto felt the Myrith’s Wrath growing impatience and annoyed by Angelica trying her best at keeping the barrier up, only for it to crumble. “Dammit, this isn’t working. WHY?” Angelica asking herself but stopped to see something rising from the ground, thousands of mounds appearing our of nowhere and rising. “Angelica…I told you not to come here! Get away from this place now!” Vince now standing on top of his Iguana’s head yelling out to her. Out of nowhere, Angelica was pulled down and off of her Firebird where she landed hard on the ground. “ANGELICA!” screamed Vince. Angelica fell hard on the ground ending up breaking her left leg and dislocated her left shoulder from impact. Angelica only lifts her head up to see Dawn standing a few inches away from her. “You think you can just fly on around me to what? (Glaring with solid black eyes lined with glowing red around them.) Your really believe that you yourself, a Hybrid to stop someone like me?” said Dawn as she allowed her nails to extend more. Angelica inspected the dark wound upon Dawn’s chest. The same area & location where Kira was struck. Angelica could not believe what she saw, cursing to herself in her mind *Why … did it not work, I saw with my own eyes a full heal.* Angelica stopped herself from talking in her mind, she forgot that Dawn can read people’s minds as if they were to speak out loud.

Both Gaara and Naruto headed back to the where all of their teammates and friends are to get them up and move away from the Forrest of Death. Gaara to arrive first and saw Ken holding on Tausha. Gaara shifting his eyes to see what they are so sad about he froze. Both Ken and Tausha looked up to see Gaara landing in front of them. “Katsume is the one who got Kira, Angelica came here to restore her life, and Tausha’s injuries fully healed. However…I don’t think Kira …” before Ken could finish, Tausha placed her hands on top of her head refusing to hear what Ken was about to say. Tausha felt even more horrible because she was afraid of what Makoto would do is she tried to talk or touch him.

Gaara grabbed Tausha, and pulling her with him. “We all must get away form here. The Myrith’s Wrath has grown not only stronger, but there’s something else that I never seen before and from the looks of it, it’s not good at all!” said Gaara. Shino, Ken, Lilith, Gavin and TenTen looked up in horror expressions on their faces.

Naruto landing in the middle of the two Sannins, and senseis informing them all of what was happening and that everyone should leave this place. Gai, Kakashi, Asuma and Tsunade collect the others. Jiraiya was the only one who stood in front of Naruto. “So, did you find out something back there?” asked Jiraiya. Naruto looked confused of what he asked, only to catch it the last second. “Yea, and strangely enough something I never even noticed before.” Said Naruto. “Well, once we are safely back in town, you can tell me.” Said Jiraiya.  Everyone else took off in a group all except for Lilith & Gavin. Lilith knelt down to Makoto she placed her hand on his shoulder. To her surprise he never even moved, but she could feel his pain though her hand. “If you like, I can summon my Python you both can ride on her, she’s a great glider and smooth riding. Besides… Your teammates are worried about you.” Said Lilith. A Sudden gush of wind brushed passed Lilith. Looking to see what it was only to see that Tausha returned to get both Makoto & Kira.

Lilith stood up and walked away to let them be. Tausha begging Makoto to at least to come with her and Kira too; there was still no answer from him. Tausha went to reach out to Makoto but stopped. “Leave… (Tausha tearing up) Leave me.” Was all what Makoto said. “But…(Tears spilling out of her eyes) I want to help…” before Tausha could even finish Makoto did it for her. “She’s dead…Katsume killed her… and even I couldn’t stop her actions against Kira!” Makoto yelling but chocking up on her words. Danya appeared behind Tausha. “C’mon, just let him be Tausha, just give him time.” Said Danya pulling Tausha to her feet and walking back to the Leaf Village with her.

Makoto got up and carried Kira, he stopped to notice it began to rain, but knew what the rain was and it wasn’t from Gaara. Makoto knew who it was as he continued on walking to the one spot where he and Kira would hand out a lot. There he would be with her.  Gavin looked at Makoto but glad that he was the last to leave finally as he looked at Lilith and laughed at what she was saying about the unconscious Katsume. “Hey now little sis; how about we head on home… oh and forget about Katsume.” Said Gavin. “Hey, Makoto or Kira must have dropped this. (Lilith picks up a pink phone) Aha! Gee I wonder who’s phone this is?” asked Lilith asking her older brother playfully. “Oooh Makoto has a soft side for pink.. who knew.” Said Gavin laughing but joking about it. “Well, open the phone it will say who’s phone it really belongs to anyway. “said Gavin. Lilith standing up and making a silly fake laughing expression on her face; she opened the cell phone. “Oh, bad news bro…(Gavin looks at his sister) This is Kira’s phone.. (Phone had a screen and it was blinking) looks like she was about to send a message, but never got the chance…should I see what it was?” asked Lilith.

Gavin walking up to Lilith and tells her to open the message that was blinking. The message opened up. Both  shocked to see what it was. They immediately took off where Makoto went to inform him of important information.


Back in the Battle….

Seth was beginning to tire of the battle, The Myrith’s Wrath was far greater than both of his and Vince’s Dragons combined! The Myrith’s Wrath has already destroyed the beast; the surrounding ninjas were all slaughtered. Vince’s chakra was running low including Seth’s chakra too. Vince took his chances and took Angelica away from Dawn. Angelica tried to talk to Vince, but quickly passed out. Seth running next to Vince letting him know that Dawn’s Myrith’s Wrath will settle down more now that it did it’s fair share of blood shedding.

Running through the broad forest all three are heading back to the village. Angelica was still out. “What will happen IF Dawn dies?” asked Seth causing Vince to stop dead in his tracks. “Dies? Kira’s life has been fully restored by Angelica. Why are you even bothering asking me about IF she dies?” asked Vince looking irate and wiping the blood off his face. “I mean that Dawn not only can feel Kira’s pain, but she’s also going through it. (Vince glanced at Seth) If one was healed, it will transfer that injury to the other… that means that leads directly to Dawn.” Said Seth now causing Vince to dread more about Dawn’s injury.


Now that the battle is won, The Myrith’s Wrath has done a fine job at destroying everything in its path. Dawn now struggling to her feet but fails as she falls on the ground coughing up large amounts of blood.. her vision darkens. Dawn did a last summoning, she summoned her Shoji’s Light where he white dragon appeared and began on curing Dawn’s wounds. Just before the process could be finished Dawn blacked out. Off the Distance stood a tall body in a black and red cloud coat. Stepping forward, he knelt down to see who this one strong person was. “So, this is the one who had a child with Orochimaru.” Said Itachi as he picked up Dawn into his arms and began to carry her away, until Vince landed hard on the ground causing the ground to crack form impact. “Hand her to me Itachi!” said Vince glaring at Itachi with his red eyes. “You dare to convince me to hand over her to you?” said Itachi as he used his Sharigun on Vince. Itachi took off with Dawn. Leaving Vince alone lost in the Sharigun.


On the other side of the forest where both Lilith & Gavin are now heading to the area where Makoto and Kira are. Lilith was the first to come up to Makoto. “I only came here to hand this phone to you; it’s Kira’s phone.” Said Lilith Gavin grabbed Lilith. “Come on, Seth is probably waiting for us.” Said Gavin Soon the two took off leaving both Makoto and Kira alone. Makoto opened Kira’s phone, which was still beeping. Seeing that Kira was about to send off a message to Dawn. He figured it was probably nothing; he clicked the message that was never sent yet and read the screen. Makoto’s eyes widen.
~*~ The cell phone text message: “OMG… OMG… Dawn I really need you to go with me to see Tsunade, Please don’t ignore this message. I really need you to be there with me.” ~*~

Makoto noticed a call that Kira sent to Dawn he clicks on it to listen in to see what it was, and why Kira needed to see Tsunade.

~*~ The cell phone message: “Dawn… (Kira sounds very afraid on the phone) I took that home pregnancy test, and it came out positive. Please, Dawn meet me in the Leaf Village so that together we can go see Tsunade! (Kira starts crying on her phone) If I am, and if it’s still positive what will Makoto think, I don’t want him to leave me.” ~*~

Makoto dropped Kira’s phone, two of the worst things to ever happen to him in one day Kira dies in his arms, and now finding out she was caring his child. Makoto moved Kira’s lower Chinese top and found that she was wearing bandages. He removed the bandage that was wrapped around her torso, placing his hand on Kira’s stomach. Sure enough there was not only a bump there, but also he felt something moving around. He flinched; he tried again to see if he can feel the same movement. Makoto got up, still caring Kira in his arms. He grabbed Kira’s cell phone and began heading back to the Leaf Village to see Tsunade.


Gavin and Lilith are heading back to their Sound village where someone attacked them. Caught off their guard, Gavin easily attacked the 3 ninjas, while Lilith struggled with the one rouge Ninja. Gavin stopped when he heard someone getting struck with a sword. Gavin looks back to see his sister Lilith who was stabbed by a rouge Ninja. Lilith fell on her side she died instantly. Gavin rushes down only to get hit by the rouge Ninja. Getting back up Gavin looked to see who it was that Killed his sister. It was Sasuke Uchiha! He took off heading in another direction. Gavin goes over to his sister. He saw that she had already died from the sword. The blood staining the ground from under her body, clearly there had to be at least 4 pints of blood. No one could have ever survived from that sort of attack.

Gavin held his dead sister close. Then the worst of his worries was what would Seth say or do to him now that Lilith is dead. Gavin picked up Lilith and started to walk back home. Gavin now at Lilith’s place, an old man appeared at the doorway. He knew something was wrong as he let Gavin inside and shut the door. “What the hell happened… Oh no.. Lilith.” Said the older man the caretaker of the house. Gavin laid Lilith on the bed, and moved his hands up to her eyes to cover them shut. “She’s dead…Get who ever is the fastest to send this message to Seth, and to inform him immediately of his wife’s death.” Said Gavin as he sat on the floor near the bed and holding onto Lilith’s hand. Lowering his head on the bed burring his face. “Leave me NOW!” said Gavin making the caretaker to leave Gavin alone in the room.

An older woman holding onto a toddler in her arms began to ask what happened and if Lilith was ok. The caretaker told the woman to follow him into the next room where he would tell her.


Seth looking annoyed and tired from the battle, he ended up heading to the Leaf village mainly to get something to eat and maybe some rest under or up in the tree. Instead someone approached him. He looked at the Ninja with a questionable look. “What” said Seth.  “I was told to get a hold of you ASAP I have grave news about Lilith.” Said the Sound Ninja. Seth tensed up “WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WIFE?” Seth now angry and about to rip off the Ninja’s head. “Both Gavin and Lilith were attacked on their way to the Sound village. Lilith… she…” before the Ninja could even finish Seth look off running back into the thick woods, heading as fast as his feet could take him back to his home.
