Chapter 14: Shiny Teeth
"Yes, husband," why did I feel like China was being serious? Maybe it was the look on her face as she typed. I've only seen her looking that aggressive once before and that was when she was fighting some fangirl for the last Italy plushie at a convention.
Alex turned around because my waffles had, evidentally, finished cooking. He placed them on a plate and slid it across the counter in front of me with syrup, butter, and silverware following soon after. Thankfully, none of them fell off the table. I ate my waffles in peace after butter and syrup were spread across them. I really don't like those two right now. But still, my body does not follow my brain's example as some would notice by my red face.

The day continued on. I decided to retreat to my room while China, her husbands, and Alex played Mario Kart. I was currently reading that hit book; The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It's very nice. China recommended it to me. As crazy as she is she has a decent taste in literature. I can't exactly relate to Charlie. He's the main character. I like him. But he's a pushover. I think he needs to learn how to be himself and how to stick up for himself. He's intelligent though and he understands everything that he sees. I kinda wish I was like him in some ways then I'd just keep myself the same in a few other ways. I love being intelligent. Does Alex like it too? I can never tell. He's always messing with me and confusing me. Maybe he just likes teasing me. He looks his happiest when he is. He has a really nice smile and his teeth are just so. . . . So. . . . WAIT! Oh my god. Was I seriously just thinking that? Why would I think something like that?! He's my enemy! My rival! Even if his teeth look perfect, THAT'S NO REASON TO STAND DOWN!
"I HAVE BEEN DISIEVED BY PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL TEETH!" After shouting I got up, walked over to my full-body mirror and examined my own teeth. "Why don't mine look as white and perfect as his?" I became a little discouraged after I said that. I've always thought of myself as a pretty handsome guy. Maybe I was wrong. Right now I had a ratty mass of hair, thick glasses, and the bags under my eyes were growing thicker with each passing day.
His skin was perfect, his hair looks like it was sewn by angels. He looks like a movie star. And I'm just his busboy. I decided to slap myself across the face. I shouldn't be thinking these thoughts. I'm smart, I've got a bright future ahead of me! Colleges are already begging me to be part of their student body. I'm not even kidding when I say this. Sometimes college reps stop by the pastry shop looking for me. After we shake hands they'd start offering me deals and constantly asking me to please join his or her college. It's kinda weird but a wonderful ego booster when I'm feeling down. Excellent. I'm feeling better. I think I'll go finish that book now. I've only got one more chapter to go and then I can browse through my sister's huge library again. I wonder if Alex likes books too. I'll have to ask him that when I go downstairs. I paused my nonstop thinking and finished reading the book. It was certainly a story that made you think.
