Alas, I am posting a new piece of art. I am getting back into drawing anime characters and this one just so happens to be a water dragon from Yu-gi-oh. I know, I know... I wish it was my own design too. *sigh* But I am working on a dragon of my very own and only a couple of people who are closest to me have gotten a sneak peek. I am afraid the rest of you will have to wait. Oh, great... now that I have opened my mouth about it, something will probably happen. I will probably be struck down with carpel tunnel or the drawing will disintegrate in my hand or something. Hurry! ...someone get me some wood to knock on!
Oh my god, you didn't tell me you had posted this already >_< I had to scroll down to see it posted too lol, how did that happen? >_< Lol, anyways, I Abosultely love, dragons (which you know) and this serpentine dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh kicks major butt luv lol. I like the coloring, because it's so flashy and bright, you always do good in your coloring with those markers ^^ this dragon goes
I don't know how it happened, Chris. Honestly. I blame the shoes! it is always the fault of the shoes! Anyway, I really appreciate you saving this one into your faves darlin.I am so glad that everyone is really liking the coloring. I actually think it is abyssmal. >_< My dang markers thought it would be much fun to finally run out of ink. Anyway, this is one of the drawings we were supposed to be working on together. Oh well, I know and understand your circumstances. I just wish that I could share this credit with you. Thank you so much for your kindness and support Chris. You really have no idea what it means to me to have your encouragement. All my love.
Yeah, SO sorry I couldn't help with the development with this >.< *raises fist to the ink/printer gods* But you did REALLY well on your own without my help ^^ and it turned out spectacular! Otherwise, it wouldn't have gone into my favs if it wasn't such a good piece of work (Plus it's a dragon) hehe..
I thank you so much Chris. You are so sweet to me. It is all right that you couldn't help. I understand. There will be other things we can do together. (man, of course that sounded dirty) Anyway, thank you for your undying support and love of me and my work. It means so much to me.
Yes it does look like something from Aliens huh? You know something? Brethesen said the same thing! Ah well, as long as it doesn't come near me, I think I'll be fine. I would hate to see the paper cut those teeth would give me. Thank you so much Kichi. Much love.
*sticks head under your fist* I think it's made of wood!
This is lovely, my dear. You did a phenomenal job of colouring it, too, and you've managed a very motion-filled pose. Awesome work, Switch dahling! *hugs* You deserve to be very proud.
Oh no. Are you like Pinocchio? Does your nose grow too when you lie? Anywhoo, thank you so much for liking this one. I was afraid of the coloring actually. My stupid markers are drying out. I need to get new ones. Oh guess what I bought today though? I bought a set of Cotman water color paints. I found a very beautiful piece that I want to draw that will look awesome in watercolors. I haven't painted in watercolors before, so it will be new. I have to put those canvases to use some day. Anywhoo, any pointers before I embark on my journey of water colors? All my love., Your wife, Switch
First off - don't paint in watercolours on a canvas. Second, try using a good watercolour paper if you have it, and stretch it out (tape all edges down) onto a good piece of board. THat helps it not wrinkle when you put the paint on. Mostly, just play around some first, see what you can do. Remember they're transparent colours, so layering makes different effects, and with watercolours, it's easiet to work background to forground, and light colours to dark colours.
Have fun, luv! (My nose doesn't grow, no. It can't it's already too big! )
Thank you so much for all of your help in this matter my love. I knew you were the one to ask because of your wonderful expertise in the field. ^_^ I will take everything you have told me into consideration as I embark on a new adventure in art. And your nose is not already too big. You hush with that nonsense or I will have to spank youl. All my love.
Very cool LadyAnime! I really like how you've done the shading on this; it really gives it some depth. The red teeth are cool too, it looks like it just ate dinner, ha ha. Nice job!
Thank you so much sweetie. I tried my best with the coloring. I wish my markers would have cooperated more, but oh well. Time to get some new ones. I am glad that you guys like this one. I haven't really posted much lately so I thought I better get to it. Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments. All my love.
WOW! When you gave me this before it was sketched I thought I was awesome...and now that I see it colored...wow! I mean my god this is way cool I love it nice job!!
Why thank you so much sweetheart. I hope I did it justice with my weird ways of coloring. Ah, well. I think someone needs to tell him to brush his teeth though. All my love.
omg I know...I was thinking that..kinda scares me away...poor guy he really needs to get those suckers checked out...or they will fall out...lol! Your welcome hun! You know I love looking at your work!
I wouldn't want to be the dentist fixingf his teeth though. I think he may have gingivitis. And I am so happy that you enjoy my work. I have fallen a little behind, but I am going to kick myself in the ass every day to get some really cool shiznit on here. Thank you for being my fan as always. I wuv you.
...don't worry I am far behind and I am getting quite erritated with my art right now...! Well this is not about my art I love this sweetie and I wuv u 2 hee hee!
Aww, thank you so much Katie. It is nice to hear from you again. I am still a little unsuer of how the coloring came out, but it will have to stay this way wheteher this dang dragon likes it or not! Anyway, I really appreciate the awesome compliments sweetheart. Thank you so much. ALl my love.
It's nice to hear from you too. ^_^ It's been awhile. With college prep exams, highschool, social life and co-op, my life has been crazy these dys. lol Oh, the coloring is done great! I'm really bad with markers... You're totally welcome. ^_^ All was deserved. ^_^
Whoa...This is very, very cool! You've done your perspective correctly, and the dragon is just straight up neat lookin'! Awesome job, and I'm glad to see more of your art!
Aww thank you so much Heidi! Yay! My first review and it is a good one. Woot! That is a relief. I am still unsure of the coloring. I hate how most of it turned out. (Coloring wise I mean.) But it will have to do because I am busy with other drawings right now. Damn my lack of time! *laughs* Anyway, thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful review. This dragon is pretty bad ass if you ask me and I thought I would try to draw him. I am glad that I didn't completely screw him up. All my love.
Oh, but the colors are very Yu-gi-0h ish. (......) I think I just made that word up. Anyway, he is very well drawn. Oh, and I just noticed! His teeth are red...Very cool...
Why thank you and from here on out, 'Yu-gi-oh-ish" shall be forever known as a word on Paper Demon. His teeth are very red because he has been eating alot of candy. Mainly those Swedish Fish. You know the ones I am talking about? See that Chris? I remembered the Swedish fish! Anyway, I hope everyone else will be as nice about his teeth as you were. He has a poor self image you know.
