Alas, I am posting a new piece of art. I am getting back into drawing anime characters and this one just so happens to be a water dragon from Yu-gi-oh. I know, I know... I wish it was my own design too. *sigh* But I am working on a dragon of my very own and only a couple of people who are closest to me have gotten a sneak peek. I am afraid the rest of you will have to wait. Oh, great... now that I have opened my mouth about it, something will probably happen. I will probably be struck down with carpel tunnel or the drawing will disintegrate in my hand or something. Hurry! ...someone get me some wood to knock on!

I don't know how it happened, Chris. Honestly. I blame the shoes! it is always the fault of the shoes! Anyway, I really appreciate you saving this one into your faves darlin.I am so glad that everyone is really liking the coloring. I actually think it is abyssmal. >_< My dang markers thought it would be much fun to finally run out of ink. Anyway, this is one of the drawings we were supposed to be working on together. Oh well, I know and understand your circumstances. I just wish that I could share this credit with you. Thank you so much for your kindness and support Chris. You really have no idea what it means to me to have your encouragement. All my love.

Otherwise, it wouldn't have gone into my favs if it wasn't such a good piece of work Wink (Plus it's a dragon) hehe..

    • Aug 21, 2005, 9:19:41 AM UTC
Yes it does look like something from Aliens huh? You know something? Brethesen said the same thing! Laughing Ah well, as long as it doesn't come near me, I think I'll be fine. I would hate to see the paper cut those teeth would give me. Laughing Thank you so much Kichi. Much love.

*sticks head under your fist* I think it's made of wood!

This is lovely, my dear. You did a phenomenal job of colouring it, too, and you've managed a very motion-filled pose. Awesome work, Switch dahling! *hugs* You deserve to be very proud.

Oh no. Are you like Pinocchio? Does your nose grow too when you lie? Anywhoo, thank you so much for liking this one. I was afraid of the coloring actually. My stupid markers are drying out. I need to get new ones. Oh guess what I bought today though? I bought a set of Cotman water color paints. I found a very beautiful piece that I want to draw that will look awesome in watercolors. I haven't painted in watercolors before, so it will be new. I have to put those canvases to use some day. Laughing Anywhoo, any pointers before I embark on my journey of water colors? All my love., Your wife, Switch

First off - don't paint in watercolours on a canvas. Second, try using a good watercolour paper if you have it, and stretch it out (tape all edges down) onto a good piece of board. THat helps it not wrinkle when you put the paint on. Mostly, just play around some first, see what you can do. Remember they're transparent colours, so layering makes different effects, and with watercolours, it's easiet to work background to forground, and light colours to dark colours.

Have fun, luv! (My nose doesn't grow, no. It can't it's already too big! Laughing )

Laughing And your nose is not already too big. You hush with that nonsense or I will have to spank youl. Wink All my love.

Very cool LadyAnime! I really like how you've done the shading on this; it really gives it some depth. The red teeth are cool too, it looks like it just ate dinner, ha ha. Nice job! Smile

Aww thank you so much Heidi! Yay! My first review and it is a good one. Woot! That is a relief. I am still unsure of the coloring. I hate how most of it turned out. (Coloring wise I mean.) But it will have to do because I am busy with other drawings right now. Damn my lack of time! *laughs* Anyway, thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful review. This dragon is pretty bad ass if you ask me and I thought I would try to draw him. I am glad that I didn't completely screw him up. Laughing All my love.

Oh, but the colors are very Yu-gi-0h ish. (...O.O...) I think I just made that word up. Laughing Anyway, he is very well drawn. Oh, and I just noticed! His teeth are red...Very cool...
        • Aug 19, 2005, 8:23:29 PM UTC
Why thank you and from here on out, 'Yu-gi-oh-ish" shall be forever known as a word on Paper Demon. His teeth are very red because he has been eating alot of candy. Mainly those Swedish Fish. You know the ones I am talking about? See that Chris? I remembered the Swedish fish! Laughing Anyway, I hope everyone else will be as nice about his teeth as you were. He has a poor self image you know.
