Caspian was upset about the sudden turn of events - lightly put. All he wanted, was to see the Soujel marketplace briefly before slinging back to his ship to wallow in self-pity. Maybe get a few apples. Or whatever the red fruits were that were sold in abundance there. He had to admit that they tasted slightly funny. They were close to the taste of a Terran apple, but something was just... off.

 

And while true that one of his mos prevalent hobbies was to swim in the tide of depression aimed at himself, he wouldn't have ever admitted it. Not for strangers. He was a sad little boy, yes, but he was no buzzkill.

 

Or at least that was what he told himself. He didn't exactly know how to keep his mouth shut. Ugh.

 

He only wanted to scream. The whole situation frustrated him a lot more than he would've liked. A growl got stuck in his throat. But it was stubborn. It got further, and hung from his canines. It wanted to get through. Make the storm inside his body known to the whole guild.

 

Was it too much asked? To have peace for once? There were always at least ten wrenches in the works. Nightmares, chaos realms, boars, serpents, cheese queens, dragons, swarms of bugs...

 

What next? A tornado made of urchins?

Caspian had to shake himself out of the thought. The tangent that went everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Stop that. Do not summon any more monsters or gremlins. This is absolutely enough, and then some.
