Chapter 15

“Lin?” I gathered my courage and looked at my reflection, “I’m p-preg-” I sighed, and sat on the toilet. I’m happy, but this is stressful. Would Lin want a baby? He tells me he loves me and has prove it over and over, since he came back, and the misunderstanding with Rafe, and the so-called rape. 

He’s been a wonderful boyfriend, a vampire boyfriend. A great lover, and everything. But, “Will he want this baby? Our Baby?” I put my hands on stomach, which was a little round to begin with but there was a baby growing inside me. A half vampire. I couldn’t go to a regular doctor I’m sure. So I’ll have to tell Lin, and soon before I start to show.

A knock startled me out of a nap I was taking. The clock said, 6:30pm. It was getting dusk. I yawned, and stretched. Another knock. “Nami?” Lin’s voice. I reacted quickly and opened the door, to a dozen roses and Lin. He grinned, “Good evening, my love.”. “Lin, their beautiful!” I took them.
“Not as beautiful as you.” He kissed me, then came in, and shut the door. I put the roses in a vase.
“Where’s Mori, and Ken?” I asked sitting the roses on the table. I should tell him now, it’s the perfect time…
“They’re coming over, soon.”
I guess not. “Really? I thought it would be you and me.”
He chuckles, taking off his leather jacket, then kissed my head, “We’re going to celebrate.”.
My heart kicked. Could he know? I mean, vampires, couldn’t they tell? “Celebrate?”
“You actually forgot?” Lin said, sitting on the bed. He looked hurt. Forgot? I forgot something Important? I already had an important situation dealing with right now, that’s developing in my womb. What else could it be…
“It’s been one month since we’ve been together.” Lin hung his head, “Our first date?”
“Oh! Lin! I’m sorry!” I went to him, and sit next to him, “I remember! You took me up to the cellar and showed me the bats.” I put my hand on his and squeeze. 
He glances at me, then smiles, “Yes. I’m glad. I was worried you’ve forgotten.”.
“I remember everything that night. It was so romantic.” I put my head on his shoulder, “I’m sorry Lin. I’ve been tired recently. I’m barely passing my classes, and studying hard.”
“And staying out most nights with me. I’m sorry Nami, I should’ve thought about you’re education needs more, and shouldn’t have had you over so much.”
“Well, you was over here many nights too.” 
Lin laughs, and pulls my chin up, and kisses me, “You smell so good, Nami.” We kissed. “You got a sweet smell.” He kissed me again, “Nami?”
“Mm?” His tongue enter and we fell back on the bed.
“Nami.” His hand cupped my boob, and he squeeze gently. I slightly gasped. My boobs have been swollen for a couple of weeks now. They seem..
“Nami, have you breasts gotten bigger?” Lin looked at my chest and was squeezing over and over. Not to mention they were still sore! Stop squeezing them!
“It’s. Just. My. Sweater.” I said, trying to not hiss. It’s the fall season and the apartment have been cutting back on the heat bill. The Landladies idea, of course. 
“Oh?” Lin stopped. I sighed as his hand leaved my boob and touched my hair, “After Ken and Mori leaves, can we continue?”
“Huh? Sure.” Lin smiled, and someone knocked on the door.

“Oh Lin?” Mori’s voice. “Why is the door locked? You knew we was coming over, right?”
“You locked the door?” I asked.
Lin had a sheep look, smiling, “I didn’t want anyone to just barge in on us in a private moment.”
Someone pounded on the door. Lin growled, glaring at the door, “Hold your asses! We’re busy right now!” He blushed. I blushed. But, on the outside they were laughing.
“Lin and Nami sitting in a tree.” Rafe’s voice, “F-u-c-”
“Shut-up!” Lin got off me and opened the door.
“k-i-n-g!” Rafe finished, laughing, walking in.
“We weren’t doing that.” Lin hissed at him as he walked back toward me. I was sitting on the bed. Mori and Ken laughs, as they sit bags on the table.
“Well that’s a first.” Mori said, taking out a champagne bottle. Wait, I can’t drink that! I put my hand on my stomach.
“Nami?” Lin asked, “Are you feeling ok?” Everyone was watching me, stopped what they were doing. Gene and Ken stopped arguing over something. Gene was wearing pants, instead of being natural bare, with a jacket, I noticed.
“Huh? Oh yeah, I’m fine.” I smiled.
Lin watched my face. I was getting nervous, and I swallowed. He was looking at me like he was reading me. Maybe he could. But he smiled, “Good, you looked like you was going to be sick.”
“No, I feel great!” I said, but I was feeling a bit queasy. I hope I don’t get morning sickness now. Maybe it was just nerves, yes that what it is, nerves. Everyone went back to doing what they were doing. Gene and Ken argued. Mori popped the cork on the bottle.
Lin stood, “Why are Rafe and Gene here?” He asked Mori, more like hissed.
“Well, he is your brother and all.” 
“My brother, yes. But-”
“Nami, I see you’re as beautiful as the last time I saw you.” Rafe put his arm around me, and pulled me to him.
“Uh, Rafe?” I said, watching flames shoot out of Lin’s head and eyes. 
“Mm?” Rafe nuzzles my head.
“Rafe.” Lin hissed and his hair that was bound in a tie, untied and his hair flowed around him. He was scary and sexy I admit, watching him.
“Relax, brother. I already consider Nami as my sister-in-law. You have nothing to worry about.” He said that while his tongue licked my ear.
“And you worry about me Lin?” Mori tsked, pouring red liquid into the wine class. So, it wasn’t Champagne. I was relieved, but I had to tell Lin soon about the baby. I thought as Lin was choking Rafe. Rafe was laughing, but Lin was serious. I had to laugh with them.

After the little party, the others left, and it was just me and Lin finally. We laid on the bed, in each other arms. He was kissing me.
“Mm, Lin?” I said, as his lips left mine.
“Yes, my love?” He kisses me again.
“I need to tell you something.” His lips kissed mine.
“Anything, my love. Tell me.” His tongue licked my lips, and his eyes were lustful. Not good. He was too sexy. I couldn’t help it as I pushed him on his back and got over him. “Nami?” He looked surprised. His long black hair spread across the pillow. Didn’t help either, he looked even more sexy. I kissed him. His arms circled around me and pulled me down on him, trapping me on him.
“Mmmm.” I moaned, as we kissed. Our tongues mate, and I forgot to tell him, until after we made love, I came back to my senses. He held me to him. We were under the covers, and naked. I had my head on his chest, and he was rubbing my back with on of his hands, and a arm holding me.
OK, tell him, I thought. “Lin?”
“Mm?” He said lazily. I’m sure he was smiling. I couldn’t look at him.
“Remember I had something to tell you?”
“….Yes.” Lin said, a little more serious.
“Well, um, it’s about us. And…I don’t know what to do.”
“Nami, I love you, I don’t want to break up.” He said, seriously. He thought I was breaking up with him? I looked at him. He looked between sad and desperate.
“No. It’s not that. I love you too. It’s something else.”
“What? Tell me Nami. Please.”
“You can’t tell?” I asked him. Vampire should tell shouldn’t they?
“Tell?” He watched my face for a few seconds, “I do know something is different, but I don’t know what it is, exactly. You’ve been tired, and I noticed you’re breasts are swollen. It’s not your menstrual circle, cause I don’t smell it. Come to think of it, I haven’t smelled it for a month now. Last time was before you and I meet.” He stopped. I watched his face. His eyes focused and unfocused. He sniffed a few times, his nostrils flares and un-flares, like a dog or something. I laughed a little at that. He was amazing. “It isn’t anything bad cause you seem happy about it. I’ve always notice you have been nervous lately. It’s something serious, but also good, isn’t it?”
“I hope so.” I said, “Lin, I’m preg-” A bang on the door stopped me. “Who can that be?”

Lin growls, then jets out of the bed leaving me naked without the sheets, not to mention he was naked as well. He opened the door, “What?!” He wide eyed. I covered myself with a sheet and went to the door. A gorgeous woman stood staring at Lin. Her eyes were on his. She had long black hair to her waist and she was taller than me, slimmer, and dressed like a movie star, in a black sleek dress. It was lowcut showing cleavage.
“Hello, Lin, Dear.” Her voice was like one you find when you call a 900 number. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you. Finally I’ve found you.”
Who is she? My heart pounded. Who is the sexy woman, and why does she know Lin? I gasped inside as she kissed his cheek. She glances at me, “I see you found your lover. You did say you would.” Her nostrils flared, “You’re just like your father..” Lin just stared in shock at her. She chuckles looking back at him, “I see you also made a half breed with her.”
I gasped, as Lin looks at me surprised.
“N-Nami?” Lin said, and his hand touched my hair.
“Lin, you didn’t know?” the woman said. He looks back at her. She smiled, showing fangs, “Wouldn’t it be polite to invite your dear mother in?” Mother?!
“It’s very cold for an old vampiress like me to be out in fall weather for long periods.”
“M-mother.” Lin confirms it by saying it, “Why are you..”
“Bad news, dear. I was hoping you wouldn’t have a lover, but my clan has insisted that you come back and be married to Arimi.”
What? My heart and body hit the floor.
“Nami!?” Lin held me. Why do I faint so much? I thought as I passed out.
