Chapter 8

 Two days have passed. I sighed, getting up from bed this morning. I haven't been anywhere, except to a few classes the last two days, since I was off work, and I kept looking out my window to see if Lin came back. Lin is still gone, I thought pulling the curtains together.

 At least the good news was, Ted hasn't bother me since I told him off, but that's it. I got no classes today or tomorrow. I got only a few microwave dinners in the fridge, left. I wanted to have a wonderful meal with Lin, like on our first date. I have been lazy and miserable since Lin was gone.

 I never was like this, until Lin. Garlic, takes down vampires. Love, takes down me.

 I got dressed. I don't know why, Lin's not around, I have no work or classes, I thought. I opened my curtains, and looked at the mansion. The mansion looked lonely than before. As I looked, I noticed the door was opened. Lin?! I thought as I rushed out toward the mansion. I stopped at the door, excepting Ken to appear. I looked in the house. It was dark, no candles were lit. I stepped through the door, and stopped when the light from the sun stopped at.

 "Ken?" I yelled. Nothing but silence. Their not here? Did someone break in last night or something, I thought, holding my heart, trying to stop it from beating out of my chest. "Lin." I whispered. I felt tears well up in my eyes.

 "Lin? How do you know that name?" A man's voice said, as a shadow darkens the room. I looked,  
 The light from the sun, blinded my eyes, and I put my hand over my eyes, shielding them from the glare of the sun. I saw a man with a long black leather overcoat, with a hat covering his face, and he had a red dog beside him.

 "How do you know that name?" He repeated. My eyes focused on him. He lifts his hat up. He had long blond wavy hair, and blue eyes. "She smells like that human we smelt when we were tracking them, Rafe." A voice replied. "Huh?" I looked around. Where did that come from? Who else is here? I thought. "She has a little different smell than before, but that's the human, we smelt, before." The voice continued.

 I looked at the dog, and it was staring at me. It can't be the dog? I thought, but let it slipped out of my mouth. "I'm not a dog." The voice came from the dog. "Huh?" I said, shocked. It talk! I thought.

 "She seems cute." Rafe chuckled. "You must be joking, Rafe." the dog said. "Oh, you don't think she is, Gene?" Rafe stepped forward toward me. I stepped back and bumped into a table. Rafe raise his hand, stopping. "I'm not going to hurt you." Rafe said. "What do you want?" I asked. "Lin, Mori, and Ken. Where are they?" the dog said. "I don't know." I said, nervously.

 Rafe touches my hair pushing it out of the way of my neck. "You didn't get bit? They must really like you." Rafe said. Is he a Vampire Hunter?, I thought looking at his eyes. "How do you know Lin? What are you to them?" Rafe asked.

 "She must be a lover, Rafe." The dog said. "Really?" Rafe said looking at me. "Yes, before she had a pure smell, now that smell is gone." "Then, she was a virgin, before. Who took that away from you, girl?" Rafe asked. I felt chills.

 "Was it Lin that took it away?" Rafe said touching my cheek. "Are you in love with a vampire?" He chuckles. "She must be, Rafe. She was whispering his name in here." The dog said. "It's not good for a human to love a Vampire, now is it, Gene?" "No." the dog said.

  I moved to the left of me, but the dog stopped me. "Leave me alone!" I said. Then the dog transformed into a man. He was naked. He had long red hair, and red eyes. "Gene, you need some clothes." Rafe chuckled. "No, I am quite comfortable like this." Gene said flipping his hair back off his right shoulder.

 I looked the other way, avoiding looking at him. "Oh, she's blushing." Gene chuckled. "I am not." I denied it, but I felt my face burning. "I told you she's cute, didn't I?" Rafe teased. I can't help it, I'm not used to seeing naked men, I thought. Rafe lifts my head up to his. Rafe was smiling. "You're very cute when you're blushing." He chuckle, as he leans in.

 Gene clears his throat. Rafe looks at him, annoyed. "Do you always have to interrupt me, Gene?" "I know it pains you to be stopped, but your flirting will have to be postpone, Rafe. We have a visitor." Gene said transforming back to a red wolf.

 "Excuse me." Ted's voice said before he entered. I groaned under my breath, "Ted, Why are you here?" I growled. He was the last person I wanted to see, even if I was about to be raped by Rafe. Rafe was glaring at Ted, wanting to know too. I guess he felt I didn't like Ted much. Ted looked at Rafe then me. "Where's your loverboy, Lin at, Nami?" He asked, with a smirk. I swallowed. "I would like to know that also. Nami." Rafe said turning his attention back to me. "Are you a friend of that guy?" Ted asked. Rafe chuckles, "Not really, we're just... Acquiescence. Not really friends." Rafe lean in to me, "More like Rivals, really." He whispered in my ear. Ted didn't hear him, "What was that?" Ted asked walking closer. Then Gene growled, stopping him from moving closer. "Easy there, Rover." Ted said with a shaky voice. It looked like he was afraid of dogs. Rafe looked at Ted. "Shit! I hate freaking dogs! Dog's are so dumb." Ted said backing up. Gene growled walking toward Ted. I didn't think Gene liked hearing that.

 "Gene!" Rafe said in a harsh tone. Gene back off then looked at Rafe. He had the I-want-to-kill-this-imbecile look in his eyes. I wouldn't blame him either. I slightly laughed. Gene and Rafe turn their attention at me. "What's so funny?" Ted asked, walking a few steps. Gene growled, making him stop quickly. Ted swallowed hard, like he was swallowing a cobstopper, "I think I will go now!" He said as he darted out the door. "Please do!" Gene said. "I get the impression you don't like that guy, Nami." Rafe said leaning into me. I turned my face away from him, causing him to kiss my cheek. "Now where was I?" Rafe said as his hand caressed my cheek. I looked at him. Rafe was smiling, his fangs showing. Wait, fangs!? I thought, wide eyed.

 Rafe chuckled at my reaction. "I'm a dhampir. A half human half vampire. Much like if you and Lin, had a baby together, that's if he doesn't turn you into a vampiress. Which I would love to see you as a vampire. So sexy now, but with fangs, oh boy." He brought a strand of hair up to his lips. "Then you will stake me threw my heart right?" I said. "Not with a stake, but I would like to thrust something else into you. Even if your not a vampire I will still." Rafe chuckles at his thoughts. Oh god, he doesn't? I thought wide eyeing. Rafe notices my reaction, "Oh, I think you get my meaning, then. You don't have to be a vampire for me to thrust my wood into you.". Pervert! I thought. "Leave me alone!" I tried to slap his hand away, but he caught it quickly. "You'll like it, maybe more than Lin's." He smirked. "No! Let me go!" I said trying to pull my hand free from his death grip. Not working, he's strong.

 Rafe pulls me into him, holding me tightly. "Let go!" I growled pushing him away, at least I tried. Rafe chuckles backing me to the couch. "NO!" I yelled, before I fell back onto the couch with him on top of me. "No! Let me go!". Rafe forced kissed me, adding tongue. I bit his tongue. Rafe growled, blood was dripping on my face. "Don't fight, or I will hurt you more than I plan to!" Rafe bared his fangs, licking his blood from his lips. Then He licked the blood from my face. I struggled, I couldn't move my hands, cause his weight was holding them between us. "Please stop!" I cried. I didn't want to be raped. I wanted Lin. My eyes filled with tears. Rafe looked startled. "Bastard!" a voice yelled. "Rafe look out!" Gene yelled. Then silver strings wrapped around Rafe's neck, and he was pulled off me, hanging in the air.

 I sat up, wiping my eyes. Suddenly my eyes focus, and I saw Lin holding Rafe up with the strings. He wasn't standing on the ground but was floating. "Lin." I said softly. Lin was looking at Rafe, eye to eye. "You bastard! I will kill you!" Lin snared, baring his fangs. His face was furious. His eyes were red instead of Blue. His long black hair framed his face as he was leaning in some. "Rafe!" Gene yelled transforming into his naked male self. Then, Mori and Ken appeared in front of him. Stopping him from stepping further toward me or Lin.

 I couldn't see Rafe's face. But he was struggling for breath. His legs were kicking but they couldn't hit Lin. "How dare you! Nobody touches Nami, but me. I will make you regret ever meeting me back then! I never trusted you! You bastard!" Lin growled. How could Lin be here? I thought. I, then notice candles were lit around, and it was getting dark outside. I heard Rafe chuckling. "Same ol' Lin." Rafe said, then the strings broke and Rafe landed on his feet. "You never did wanted to share anything when we were young, not even a rat. I knew you wouldn't share your lover either." Rafe turned to me.

 Lin growled, then suddenly he was in front of me with his back toward me. "You will not touch her again! Don't even look at her! Don't even think of her!" Lin yelled, growling. Rafe smiled. "You can't make me not think of her, Linny pooh. She's already is in my mind. I was going to do the same thing I was playing in my mind. Over and over again, until she-". Lin roared stopping him from talking, "Enough!". I jumped at his tone. Lin quickly turned to me. "Nami. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. It's just-" He touched my cheek. My heart pounded. "It's just I couldn't stand to hear him say stuff like that. I missed you." Lin smiled. I smiled, tears welling up in my eyes, "Are you back for good now?" I asked. Lin nodded. I flung myself to him, hugging him tightly. He felt good to hold. Lin finally, kissed my lips.

 Rafe cleared his throat, "I'm sorry to interrupt this touching reunion, but you have some business to attend to, like me.". "Wait!" I said as I got in front of Lin. "Leave Lin, Mori, and Ken alone! Their good not bad! Don't kill them!". Rafe chuckles, "You can't kill what's already dead, Nami dear.". Lin growled, "Rafe!". I felt Lin's big hands on my shoulders. "Please!" I begged, crying some. "Please, don't hurt them.". Rafe closed his eyes, then lowered his hat, "Only on one condition.". Lin squeezed my shoulders. I looked at him. Lin was glaring at Rafe with hateful eyes, like he knew what it was Rafe wanted. My heart beat stopped at one second before beating again. I swallowed, and looked at Rafe, "What is the condition?".

 Rafe, chuckles, then lifts his hat reviling a smile of a sadist, "Sleep with me once." I wide eyed, feeling my heart stop. Lin roared, "No!". All the candles went out. I fell into blackness.
