Dark Magician Girl

Another Dark Magician Girl, but this one is fully clothed. ^.^;; I like how the coloring came out on this one, but there is quite a bit that could use some improvement. Her legs look a bit "rubbery" to me. :doh: Other than that I guess she looks all right. She may be a bit shorter than normal, but since when are short people bad? Hmm? (I'm 5 foot 3) Which equals very short. Ah well. Anywhoo, let me know what guys think. All my love to you all. ^_^

  Well thank you. Yes, this wasn't one of my best. >< But hell, I have no problems in showing off my weaknesses. >< I think I was like drugged or drunk when I drew it anyway. Just kidding. But I seriously don't know what I was doing with this one. She looks like a bendy toy. Thank you so much for the comments though.

Hey man, short people rock. And I have you beat. 5'1 1/2". Anyway, the legs do kinda look like one of those flexible toys with the wire inside them (do you know what I'm talking about. I'd find them in flea markets all the time, back when I left my house. ) but that can be easily be fixed, I'm sure. You got some mad skeelz, after all.

Another thing that bothers me is her...uhmm...*checks* left (our right. No, I still don't know my left from my right. Wow, that's sad. ) hand. Is it supposed to be on her hip? Because it looks to me like she's rubbing her belleh. Or, actually, her hand's closer to her crotch area. Is she perhaps hinting that she's pregnant? I guess Dark Magician's been busy.

But other than that, very nice job. I respect that you could draw her outfit. I don't think I'd have the patience to do it. No patience over here at all.

  LMAO! Woohoohoo Oh my goodness...well, I definitely give you kudos for being my most entertaining reviewer. What exactly are kudos anyway? Do you suppose they are like Scooby Snacks? Anyways, her legs do look like them bendy little toys don't they? Well it was her damn fault for not holding still. I was like Hey you Dark Magician Girl! You stop moving your legs like that or you will end up looking like a bendy toy." But she didn't listen and now look what happened. As for her hand, I honestly have no idea. I think perhaps I was drunk when I drew this. Or heavily medicated. No,not really, but I needed a good excuse. We'll just chalk it up to she was being a little too frisky with the Dark Magician and may be expecting some weird kind of baby in the near future. At least that is what the tabloids say. >< Damn that was lame. Yes, Chriss Angel definitely rocks. He is one fine man. Well if I can't have him, I will definitely have Till Lindemann from Rammstein. He is actually my husband. He just doesn't know it yet. Thanks for making me laugh so much.

  Well, I do try to entertain. I'm glad to see I succeeded. I don't really know what Kudos are, anyway. I figure they probably are something like scooby snacks. Eh.

I love her, so cute. Yeah her leg is a little wobbly, but very cool. The coloring is also nice.

you're right about the rubber leg. the one on the left (magician girl's right, the one with the weight on it) is the one that needs work. the other one is fine I think. I really like the design you've given it. I love the clothes. very creative. and the colors are nice choices.

  Thank you Susie. ^_^ Yeah I figured out what I needed to fix on that leg of hers. Mostly it is the back of her thigh there. As Arkillian has explained to me, it should be angling outward, not caving in like I have it. I think that will make a whole lot of difference. I am glad that you like the colors too. I am wondering now if maybe they look a bit too faded. Ah well, I will see what I can do with that. Thanks again sweetie. Much love. ^_^

It looks rubbery cause she isn't standing properly. If he is on ground, then bothe feet would be under her, and itlooks gelified cause its curving in too far. See the back of her thigh? If you bumped that the other way (convex rather than concave I think it is?), then she'd have alot less of a jellified look. The lower leg also needs to be shafted forward more inline with her thigh.

  Yup, yup. I see what you mean about the back of her right thigh. As for the lower half of her left leg, I have noticed that I need to fix the way her calf is angled. >_< That's it... that's the last time I ever draw while under the influence of Vicodin. It looked perfectly straight to me then. Just kidding.

  *dies* DON'T DRAW ON DRUGS!! XD They make you see crazy things that don't exists and although its absolutely shinny pink with unicorns, it always looks totally wacked afterwards!! XD I like getting a tape recorder out when I'm like that Its funny!

  Its the part of your brain that peices reality together. That's why you shouldn't drink and drive. The alcohol slows your process of thinking down, and slows your reaction/translation of the world down. It's kinda funky :3 You should see the world after a shot of adrenline OMG- save me MOTHER!!!! XD

The coloring is great on this! And I'll have to agree with you on the rubbery leg part but the piccy is still very cool. Dark Magician Girl is one of my fave characters in Yu-Gi -Oh!

  Thanks sweetie. I have now realized where I went wrong with her legs. I am going to fix it some time soon. But for now I am moving on. I have another drawing in the works. Hopefully it will turn out better than this.

Yeappers I think I agree about the legs, the one she's standing on looks kinda like One Peice rubber dude but other than that she is very hubba hubba (sorry my old man just tought my 3yr old to say that about pretty girls ) You are right to like the coloring its great!!!

Oh yeah, did you post the wip twice on purpose or was it an oppsy cause I don't see a differance in the 2 other than the discription.

You can join my family if you feel short I'm the 2nd tallest chick in it at 5'4 and the tallest is my cousin who is 5'5 LOL. (Unless some of the little ones shot up in the last 2yrs but they don't count till I see them, so I have said and so it shall be written )

And I am going to do some kind of BG for this too. But for now I am getting back to my realism and working on a new drawing that I hope will be my best yet. *crosses fingers* And yes, I would love to join your family.
