Chapter 3: Boss Battle - Barbarian Rage

Prompt: Draw or write about your character battling the Godspawn!

To Naedithas’ surprise it was quite easy to land a hit but knowing how battles usually took sudden turns, he didn’t get cocky about it. His well trusted axe got stuck in the shoulder of the girl but she didn’t show any sign of pain, instead her head slowly tilted sideways, cracking, while a snarl escaped her, her mouth opening wide in an attempt to bite the now stuck in place barbarian.

Quickly realizing what was about to happen, the half elf focused all his strength to jerk his axe off the monster and jumped backwards, taking a battle stance once more to fend off what was to come next. It was enough time though for the girl to lash out at him with her morphed arm, tearing a gash into his side which made him huff in response. Being a barbarian, pain was more of a reason to fuel his rage rather than to succumb to it and this situation called for dire measurements.

With a bellowing war cry, Naedithas tightly held onto his axe, feet pressed into the ground beneath him. His eyes started to shine in an eery glow and wind paired with lightning began to swirl around his body, sharp and unrelentless. Chirping and crackling echoed through their surroundings while the girl watched curiously what was going on.

β€žAre you mocking me? Trust me, you’ll regret that!β€œ

The half elf was about to charge at his enemy once more, this time fueled by rage and hatred towards evil, but all of a sudden something struck his face which caught him off guard. It was a piece of earth and grass which the girl hurled towards him from a dead corner and left him blinded for a moment.

Enough time for her to exert revenge...
