Legend of Zelda:Stones of Destiny (Past): The Sorceress's Lair

The platelet told Link to throw three then four then finally nine. He thought that it might have meant throwing something like an axe, but now he believed that the throwing meant activating a lever. He figured out that the levers were numbered and when he added both numbers he got his answer to the first part of the first riddle. He threw both levers and he saw the wall in front of him dissapate. He entered the next chamber and noticed that there was now three levers and the numbers below the each of the levers were as follows: I, II, III. He know understood the whole riddle and threw down the I lever and the III lever. the wall in front of him again dissapated revealing another chamber, but now this one had four levers: I, II, III, IV. He knew that the answer to the riddle was to throw down a number of levers to get nine, He threw down the I,III, and IV levers and the wall dissapated revealing one last chamber in the Sorceress's Lair, her living quarters.

"Hahaha. We meet again Link. I believe you should remember me. Veran, Queen of Shadows. Now meet your end boy and suffer the same pain I endured in our last meeting. HAHAHAHA!!!" The darkened sorceress howled at Link.

Veran summoned keese to distract Link and also teleported around the room. Link knew her weakness though, her teleporting left her vulnerable to attack when she appeared. He readied his sword and lept at her when she appeared in one corner of the room, she became stunned by the barrage of hits and took an onslaught of attacks from Link. She recovered, but barely as Link was about to use a finishing move on her that would have killed her instantaniously. Link kept at her, but every time he almost killed her she moved around the room. He finally took out a deku nut and threw it at her, stunning her in place. He finally got in the final blow and killed Veran. Her dead body fell limply on the floor and instantly turned into blue flames and evaporated leaving a blue stone on the ground. Link picked it up and placed it in his satchel. He continued out of the Lair, but he stopped when Agahnim's voice echoed in his head yet again,

"Congrats, Link. You have made it through your first challenge in one piece, next time you won't be that lucky. Nxt, go to my brother, the warrior, and see if you can survive his test. HAHAHAHAHahaha!"

As Link went left and right in the maze, he encountered creatures that were like nightmares that stalk people. He wondered how they came to there, but he coudn't ponder for long because he reached the lair of the Warrior.
