Boss attacks: Flash 2-2

Varick popped through the portal and into Castimeria. There was one sure sign of romance: a bouquet of purple flowers. It was a tradition in Drakethorpe to present the one you were trying to charm with such a gift. Raine and Varick were long past the need to charm the other with such bouquets, but it was always nice to surprise each other with a classic. As he was leaving the guild, the mahogany Clydesdale bumped into Corda.

 

    “Ah Varick, on your way to deliver clothes or attend to a fashion emergency,” the brown-haired human asked upon seeing his friend in a rush.

 

    “No, nothing quite so dire today,” Varick smiled. “There’s a rare purple flower that grows on some of the islands here. I need a bunch to make a bouquet for Raine.” The equine tailor produced a book from his bag to show Corda a picture of his sought prize.

 

    “Would you care for help with this task? Perhaps together we can find this rare treasure together,” the dream warrior suggested as he looked over the picture of the flower.

 

    “You aren’t just trying to get free clothes are you,” the brown horse laughed. “I kid. I’d love the help. There’s way too many islands to be searching them all by myself.” Varick and Corda made short work of hunting down the rare purple flowers for Raine.
