Boss attacks: Flash 2-6

“Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Date that Adventurer.  I’m your host, Momo and let's take a look at our next potential date,” the pink-haired oni announced from the stage as the crowd cheered. “Up next, we have someone more than just a one-trick pony. A tailor, a violinist, and an adventurer, everyone gives it up for Varick!” The mahogany Clydesdale walks out from behind the curtain onto the stage.

 

“I’m not sure why I’m here,” Varick stated, confused as the crowd cheered. “I’m actually married and not looking for anyone.”

 

“Wait! Are you married? Cut the feed! Who cast him for this show,” Momo looked angrily at the cameras and the producers. 

 

“I thought this was a talent competition,” Varick said, rubbing his neck awkwardly. “Did I check the wrong box on the form again? That's how they got me on that show where they eat disgusting stuff.” 

 

“Yeah sorry, wrong show,” Momo apologized as she showed Varick off-stage. “I’ll help you find the right stage for Guild Got Talent.” The equine tailor followed the peach oni out of the sound stage and through the filming lot to the correct stage.

 

“Thank you,” Varick thanked the host.

 

“Good luck. Hope you win,” Momo smiled back as she watched the horse ready his violin and entered the studio. “Maybe next time, get someone to help you with your paperwork!”
