Boss attacks: Present - Duo Kaytlyn and Hotpop

        “Alright, fans, today we are checking out this neat little shop I just found in the shopping district,” Hotpop calls to her floating camera SEAL. “According to locals, this is the place to find all sorts of rare trinkets and oddities.” Some loud shouting draws the naga to the dark pickup counter at the back of the store. “Sounds like someone isn’t happy with their purchase. Let’s see if we can find out what’s going on.”

    “I paid for shipping, and you still made me come in to pick it up,” Kaytlyn yelled at the shadowy feline behind the counter. “The least you can do is gift wrap it for free.” The twelve-year-old fennec starts trying to climb the counter. Shadows warp and twist around the feline clerk as they respond in an unknown language. “That’s it! I’m exorcising whatever you are!”

    “Hold up, Kaytlyn,” Hotpop calls out, grabbing the fox’s arm to stop a punch. Luminous light from the sunrise naga’s tail lit up the dark corner, revealing that the clerk was only a black cat teenager with dental equipment under a flickering bulb. “Let’s all just take a breather and discuss the situation in a calm manner that doesn’t end in assaulting the poor worker.” After apologizing and Hotpop giving the clerk a shoutout on her stream, Kaytlyn, and the naga emerged from the shop with a wrapped box.

    “Thank you. It’s a gift for Vondell, and I guess I got a little heated,” the small fennec tries to smile a little. “I better get this delivered.”

    “Take care, and no fighting retail works,” Hotpop calls after Kaytlyn.
