DoA - Drawlloween 2020: Monster Arcade

Malachite and Spessartine looked down at the sight before them, their maws agape in shock. They knew that it was meant to be impressive with regards to everything that was going around, the rumors which were circling around it…

But this? How could they have expected something as amazing as this, something as intense and as popular as this, something which had required booking these tickets to this place a few weeks in advanced. Where would they start? There was just so much which they could choose from, that they could choose to do.

Several layers of games were set up for them to do, so much to play, so many different things to choose from, but how could they pick a single thing to do when there were dozens, no, hundreds of things to choose from? Not only that, but the crowds of dragons swimming through the arcade’s games were immense, dozens and dozens of aqrions excitedly playing together. Young couples with children, groups of teenagers stuffing around with one another, having fun, enjoying themselves with all these games to play. Booths around them were giving out prizes, stuffed toys, plushies, small companions running around and having a look around at different things before dashing back to their owners to tell them what they were. It was truly a sight to see, a massive buzz of movement.

“So, you’re the one who suggested it, why don’t you show me around?” Spessartine asked, giving Malachite a cheeky little grin, to which the green dragon inclined his head, emerald eyes shimmering in acknowledgement.

“That’s very true, I did… Although honestly, I’ve never been here myself! I knew that it was a really popular games place, some sort of arcade, but I never expected something of this size, something of this magnitude! There’s so much going on here – it truly is amazing…” Malachite chuckled, smiling a bit more, “Although, I will have to ask you, what sort of games do you like to play? We don’t have a companion to go scout it out, but I have something better, a map!”

Malachite produced the map as Spessartine was thinking, chuckling softly with what he had done. Inclining her head, she looked down to a machine, one that had a series of claws that was being used to pick up some stuffed toys.

“How about that…? It looks like fun?” She suggested, with Malachite nodding, deep in thought, but also having a cocky, knowing look on his face.

“No worries Spess, that’s a skill game… And its my favorite, I’ll be getting you a few prizes tonight!”
