DoA - Drawlloween 2020: Mad Scientist

Fear crawled up her spine as she looked down, her eyes wide, backed into a corner. The orange dragon didn't know what she'd done wrong to this Aqrion, but they were clearly not pleased, the abyssal looking manic, eyes uncomfortably wide as they smirked at Spessartine. 

 

"You know what I do with trespassers?" Vanessa asked, her teeth lashing, those glowing tendrils following her as she spoke. Trembling in fear, Spessartine slowly shook her head. 

 

The dark aqrion laughed, a haunty laugh.

 

"Well, that doesn't surprise me... I'm not exactly well known... I could do anything~" She sung, using her shorter flipper to gesture to the large, but somewhat scared, orange dragon. 

 

"Scared...? Good. You should be," Vanessa hissed, lashing their tail behind them, "After all, I might need to get some blood samples, maybe a few teeth, just to see what you can and cannot handle... See if my element has any significant impact on your kind." 

 

Vanessa hummed softly, before chuckling. Yes! Samples! She would need them, and much, much more from this Aqrion. Especially if she wanted others like her to stay away from her lair. 

 

"I can start with something small..." The abyssal began, slowly making her way forward, the Spessartine pulling herself back even more, back crunching against the rock wall behind her, hissing softly in defence, teeth slightly barred. Vanessa laughed gently, "Oh so scary, if I were a cat, I might be afraid, but... If your so eager, maybe I should take a tooth, you're more than keen to show them off... But no! I shouldn't do that... Maybe I should give you something to eat?"

 

A lightbulb seemed to go off in Vanessa's head.

 

"Oh yes! That will do nicely. I'll give you some of my modified mushrooms. Maybe some of our kelp from down here. Or maybe something a bit more deadly... But then again, I wouldn't want my lab rat running away on me, oh no!" Vanessa smirked, tail moving to carefully coil around Spessartine's body, tugging her forward. "Maybe I can find something a bit more mild... I don't know, it's been so long since I have had any form of company... And one so willing to be a subject!"

 

"But I didn-" Spessartine began, but she was cut off.

 

"Oh yes you did - as soon as you entered my territory... That's when you agreed to this, to be subject to my experiments! And I have so many I need to look into with you."

 

Spessartine looked left and right, trying to find some way out of this mad Aqrions lair. But as she was dragged further into the network, the maze of tunnels, it seemed as if she were at the mercy of the mad scientist, who knew what she was planning!
