Boss attacks: duocast Kaytlyn and Grin - Godspawn

As Grin approached the decrepit mansion, the sound of a chainsaw pulled the pale woman’s attention. Glancing at the overgrown garden reveals Franz, the cape penguin, trying to tame the weeds with a gas-powered tool that was too big for him.

 

    “Oh good, you made it come in,” Kaytlyn greeted Grin, ushering her inside. “As you can see, this recent guild acquisition is a bit of a fixer-up, but everything in the house comes with the purchase.”

 

    “What can you tell me about the history of this place,” the tall, pale woman asked as she examined a broken statue of some alien creature. Leaves fell through a large hole in the roof, and most of the flooring had holes. “Also is your gardener going to be fixing everything else that is broken?”

 

    “Well, this is a newly discovered territory for the Guild that the locals call New England, so it must be fairly new although not taken well care of,” the young fennec mused as she stepped over a pile of books. “As for repairs we can negotiate that as part of closing.”

 

    “How about the plant life on the property? What variety of…,” Grin paused mid-sentence as she spotted a closet covered in warning signs. “What’s behind this door?”

 

    “Nothing important. Just a minor issue will be dealt with before the sale,” Kaytlyn insisted as she tried to stop the potential buyer from opening the door to no avail. As Grin opened the door, the knocked-out Godspawn fell out and began to stir.

 

    “Nope! No longer interested,” the pale woman shouted as she quickly left the property.

 

    “Great! This place is never going to sale,” the fox girl angrily sighed as she kicked the eldritch horror a few times.
