Boss attacks: duo Kaytlyn Luis - Godspawn

“Last time I answer vague ads for home repairs,” Luis growled to himself as he tried and failed to escape the well again. The fact that the ad was handwritten should’ve been a giveaway that this job wasn’t what it seemed.

 

“Ok, if we fix all the holes in the roof, we might be able to sell the house,” a familiar voice is heard talking to someone outside the well.

 

“Help! I’m stuck in the well,” the golden retriever called from his underground prison. A head with large ears popped over the side of the well. “Yes! Please get a rope or something.” 

 

The head disappeared, and Luis’s heart sank a little bit as the thought that whoever that was might be working for the one that threw him into the well crept in. Minutes dragged by before a rope made of a thick vine lowered itself into the well. With no other options, Luis began to climb the rescue line. After the first few feet, the rope started to reel itself in with the dog folk hanging on tight till he reached over the lip of the well and found himself face to face with a pink fox-shaped mech. 

 

“Oh, it’s you,” Kaytlyn grumbled as the armor suit appeared to melt away, revealing the fennec. “Shouldn’t you be the one saving me from a well?”

 

“Oh ha ha, because I’m a dog and you’re a child,” Luis sarcastically snapped as he pulled himself out of the well. “Were you the one that put up the ad for a handyman?”

 

“No, but since you’re here, to fix something, and when the place sells, you’ll be compensated,” the young fox shooed the dog away. “If you see any loose eldritch horrors just hit them with a brick and throw them in a closet for now.”
